Ekio stumbles her way to school the next day. She couldn't sleep all night. After waking up the third time she didn't even try to go back to sleep, she just stared at her ceiling and thought of anything that might distract her from her dreams.

Yet she always looped back to them, just as she does with everything.

So, at five this morning, Ekio got up and got ready for school then, not being able to sit in bed any longer than she already has. She almost forgot her contact lenses and had to smack her door open before it locked on her as she also forgot her key.

She had to take her contact out after putting it in because she stabbed her eyes and it started watering and stinging like hell. So, poor Ekio, just sat there for five minutes and waited for her eyes to stop being wusses so she could get on with life.

Once the white contacts were finally in, and her key safely in her bag, she heads out, jumping down the stairs to avoid the weird men who try to snatch her on the way down and finally makes it on to her way to school.

And now here we are, Ekio walking up to U.A. at seven in the morning, probably the first in her class at school and she wants to die. She has no will to move or be at school.

She pushes herself through the front door and just hopes to Kami that she doesn't turn around and just go home.

"Young Kio, you are here very early?" All Might bends down to Ekio's height.

The man got to work early today to avoid the chance of him being late to work again. He doesn't want to have another day like the USJ where he couldn't prevent the entire thing from taking place because he was late to work.

Ekio looks the man in the eyes and just nods in response. She doesn't say anything or greet the teacher, she just keeps walking on forward. All Might watches her go, still bent over and hand pointing towards her direction.

"I know what you look like, you don't have to show off." She covers a yawn with her sleeve while looking back at him.

"Young Kio, your contact is uncentered."

The words slap the tiredness out of the girl. Her eyes go wide before she covers them with her palms and looks to the ground, blinking furiously in the hope that it would correct itself.

"I think you may need to head to the bathroom," All Might is covered in smoke, his weaker form appearing before the girl.

"D-Don't," Ekio stutters, trying to look at the man without him seeing her eyes. "Don't fucking tell anyone."

"I won't, as you have not told anyone about me, Young Kio. But I would hurry, the Third Year students like to come early." All Might turns away from the girl, his frown deepening as the gold eye flashes through his mind over and over again.

Where has he seen that eye before? Those eyes are burnt into his memory, they are screaming at the back of his mind, but he cannot put those eyes on a face.

Ekio looks around quickly before sprinting down the hall and towards the closest toilets. She has to make her way past the teachers' offices and hopes to Kami that Aizawa didn't also decide to be early today.

She slams the door open and races to the mirror, staring at her reflection. It was bound to happen, someone was bound to notice the slight colour behind the white contacts.

But why couldn't it be Shoto or Bakugo who wouldn't think much of it. They would just understand that she is uncomfortable with the colour of her eyes, but no, No. 1 Pro Hero has to be the one that notices it.
