Chapter 14

Clarke's P.O.V.

I feel like a part of me is missing.

I thought that it's because Raven and Octavia are angry at me. But now, I started to think that maybe it's because of Lexa.

My mom and Marcus are coming home in three days. So I decide to go buy a ,,welcome back" cake in a cakes shop.

The cake shop is in Martha's street. It's the next street after the one my house's in.

I walk out of the dorm building and head to the Martha's street.

But now I know that the part which is missing in me isn't Octavia or Raven. It's Lexa.

I don't pay attention for any cars in the road, because all I can think is how I fucked up. I should have never done that, play with Lexa's feelings.

I start to think where we would be now, if I would've kissed Lexa instead of Bellamy.Maybe we would be on a date?

I am crossing the road I hear someone shout my name.,, Lady watch out! It's a red light!"
When I'm about to look at the traffic light, I hear how the car from my left tries to stop. But before I turn my head I feel a crushing pain in my ribs.

All I know, before logging out is that my injury isn't fatal.

Lexa P.O.V.

I get a message from Raven. God, if she'll try to make peace between us, I'll...

Raven: come to the hospital as soon as you can.

My heart starts pumping very fast.

Lexa: Why? What happened?!

Raven: Clarke got in a car accident. You have to be there when she wakes up.

Lexa: coming.

I started panicking and called Anya right away.

,,Hi, Anya I need you to drive me to the hospital, now."

,,What's wrong Lexa?" I don't have time to explain! I shout in my mind.

,,Clarke got in a car accident! Drive me to the hospital now!" I don't care if she gets angry on me, all I care for now, is Clarke.

,,Didn't you two like... have a fight?"

,,Anya! I don't have time for your stupid jokes!" I shout at her trough the phone.

,,Fine, I'll be there in fifteen minutes. Get ready"

Shit, what am I going to say? Wat if she won't talk to me? I don't want her to be mad. I want her to rest. Maybe I shouldn't go. No, I have to.

When I arrive to the hospital,I see Raven and Octavia waving to me. It's my first time seeing both of them cocerned.

,,Hi" I say and, I hug both of them.

,,I'm surprised you came." Octavia says.

,,Me too" Wait, what? Why would I say that?

After two hours of waiting for Clarke to wake up, nurse comes to us.

,,Which one of you is Lexa?" Maybe she wants me to leave?

,,I am" I say, with a worry in my voice.

,,Clarke asks for you" That was unexpected. I immediately run to the room, nurse came from, but all I see is an old grandma.

,,Clarke's room is that way." The nurse says with a smile on her face and points a finger to a room 87. I feel embarrassed.

,,Clarke!" I say and run to her bed.

,,Lexa, you're here, I'm so sorry, for everything" Clarke speaks with a weakest voice I've ever heard.

,,Shh, I know Clarke" I sit on the chair near her bed, and brush my fingers trough her hair. Clarke takes my hand and falls asleep.

After two hours I decide to let her rest, so I stand up.

,,Where are you going?" Clarke doesn't want to let go of my hand. I didn't mean to wake her up.

,,You have to rest, plus Octavia and Raven waited here for four hours just to see you."I say, I don't want to go anywhere, but I have to.

,,They'll understand" With that Octavia and Raven rushes into Clarke's room.

,,We understand, it's nice to see you up Clarke, I'm sorry for what happened, see you tomorrow."
Shit they have been listening to us the whole time.

We hear them laugh in the corridor.,,It took an accident for those two dumbasses to finally hold each others hand" I hear Raven say.

I look over at Clarke. She's slowly tapping on the side of her bed. I don't think that it would be good, if I lay in this bed. But Clarke already made me a little space. I think it's because she can barely move.

,,Thank you for staying"

,,Anytime" I respond. I slowly bend over Clarke, not wanting to hurt her and kiss her forehead.

Shit. Why would I do that?

,,I would like you to do that again, please?" The biggest smile grows on my face, and I kiss her forehead again.

She falls asleep holding my left hand, so I take my phone with my right, and text Anya.

Lexa: I'll stay with Clarke at the hospital tonight. I'm sorry if that offends you.

Anya: It doesn't. I love you, Lex.

Lexa: love you too, sorry for how I talked with you today.

Anya: apology excepted:)
