I hear the sound of voices speaking and a heart monitor steadily beeping.

I slowly open my eyes and find myself lying on a hospital bed.

I sit up and look around. I'm in a room that has three walls and the fourth wall is made of a big glass panel, showing a big, slightly curved room with computers and monitor screens.

I unattach the heart monitor and get out of bed. I notice a cold metal on my wrists and look down to see two, glowing blue bracelets.

They look exactly like the collar I was forced to wear at Iron Heights.

I try to pry them off but they're on too tight. I take a deep breath and pretend they're not there.

I walk cautiously out of the room and into the room full of computers. I turn on one of the computers but it's password protected.

I look around the room and see a large sign in one of the walls that says S.T.A.R Labs.

I hear footsteps from behind me and see Barry, Cisco and a young woman who's name I think is Caitlin, enter the room.

"What are you doing out of bed?" Caitlin exclaims, rushing towards me.

"I feel fine," I say, brushing her off.

"What happened?" I ask, looking towards Barry and Cisco.

"After you collapsed, your whole body started glowing red. We managed to get you here and put meta dampers on you before anything happened though," Barry explains. I nod, scratching at the bracelets.

"Do you not like them?" Cisco asks. I shake my head.

"I've just had some bad experiences with meta dampeners," I say, touching my neck slightly where the raw skin from the collar has scarred.

Barry, Cisco and Caitlin all notice this action and probably the scar as well.

"Have I seen you before?" Cisco asks curiously. I shrug.

"Hey, weren't you that girl in the news from back when Barry was in a coma?" Caitlin exclaims. Cisco nods.

"Yeah." he walks over to one of the computers and starts typing before pulling up the news article on the monitors.

It's the article from when I had just been sentenced to Iron Heights. It reads, 'Nine year old, Raelynn White sentenced to life in Iron Heights after killing 15 and injuring 28.'

Everyone looks at me in shock.

"What happened?" Barry asks curiously. I look down.

"It was just before summer break and these girls were bullying me and my best friend. I suddenly got a really bad headache and blacked out. When I woke up, fire was surrounding me. I tried to save my best friend but I was too late." I touch the burn on my face.

"Did you get that from the fire?" Caitlin asks curiously. I nod.

"Third degree burns over the entire right side of my body and face, it also caused me to go blind in one eye," I explain.

"Didn't your family protest?" Cisco asks softly. I shake my head.

"Don't have any parents or siblings, I was living in a group Foster home."

They all look at me sympathetically. I look away.

"Do you guys have a kitchen or something here?" I ask, changing the subject.

"Yup, follow me," Cisco says. He leads me out of the room and down the hall, into some sort of a lounge/hangout area with a small kitchen.

I walk into the kitchen and get myself a plate and a slice of bread.

"What would you like? We have peanut butter, strawberry jam, marmite, chicken, lettuce," Cisco counts on his fingers.

"Do you have Nutella?" I ask curiously. He grins like a madman.

"Of course we do! I keep it on the top shelf so that the others don't use it. I have a bit of a sweet tooth," he explains, reaching up to the top shelf.

I totally see the sweet tooth thing, he has been chewing on a twizzler the whole time.

He passes me the Nutella and I get to work making myself a sandwich. Before sitting down on one of the stools and biting into it.

"So, why aren't you still in Iron Heights?" Cisco asks me. I swallow before answering him.

"Uhh...I kinda broke out?" I say cautiously. He grins.

"Cool, how did you do it?" he asks.

"Well technically it was Joss's idea, you might know her as Weather Witch. She got these pills that makes you super sick. We then got taken to the med bay where her friend on the inside snuck us out," I explain to him. He nods.

"Who is this friend of hers on the inside?" Cisco asks, probably to get rid of him. I shrug.

"Don't know. I never saw him and Joss doesn't like to use names."

"Can I ask you something. You don't have to answer though," Cisco asks. I shrug and put down my sandwich.

"Did you get that scar around your neck because of the meta dampener collars?" he asks softly. I nod.

"Yeah, guess that's what happens after wearing them for about four years," I answer, "I'm just happy that they never had to use them." I shudder at the thought.

Cisco looks down guiltily.

"I know S.T.A.R Labs created them," I tell him, knowing he's feeling guilty about them.

"But I was the one that came up with the idea and the prototype. I just always assumed that they'd only use it on the really bad metahumans. I never thought it would leave a scar either," he says with a sigh.

"But I am one of the bad metahumans. I killed fifteen kids including my best friend." Cisco shakes his head at that.

"You just have powers you can't control, It's not like you purposely killed them. It would be like if we never taught Barry to control his powers. He could be a crazy psychopath vibrating his hands through people without a thought," Cisco says with a shudder. I wince as well.

"Yeah, Just the other day I met this crazy speedster too. He totally freaked me out," I tell him, remembering the yellow speedster.

Cisco's eyes go wide and he stares at me.

"You met a speedster?" He exclaims. I nod.

"Yeah. His eyes were glowing red and he had this yellow suit. Oh, and he also knew me somehow and said we'd meet again soon?" I shudder. He was totally creepy.

Cisco chokes on his twizzler, his eyes look like they're going to pop out of his head.

"What?" I ask, slightly confused. Did they not know about this speedster or something?

Cisco grabs my arm and drags me out of the room, running into the computer room where Caitlin and Barry are talking to each other.

They turn and look at us upon our quite dramatic entrance.

"What is it Cisco?" Barry asks. Cisco is huffing and out of breath, wow, he really needs to go to the gym or something.

"The Reverse Flash is back!"
