A/N: I consider this one as a part two to "Little Nugget". Also might have some slight mentions of recent manga chapters. It won't be too much though.

A baby's crying could be heard from the nursery. As you were trying to get up to go check on the baby, a hand went to your shoulder gently.

"Sleep, angel, I'll go check up on him," Keigo said softly.

"Thank you," you slurred in your half asleep-half awake state.

He got out of bed and walked inside the baby's nursery and headed straight for his crib.

"It's okay, buddy. Papa's here." He cooed gently. He scooped up his son and headed towards the changing table. "You're a little stinker right now aren't you?"

The baby stopped crying but instead let out small whimpers and hiccups.

Keigo sent one of his feathers towards his little face and tickled and brushed his son's face with the feather. The baby stopped kicking his legs so much and his whimpering and hiccuping and his attention was on his papa's feather.

"There we go big guy. See? That wasn't so bad now was it?" He cooed as he picked up his son. "Now it's time to get you your bottle."

Keigo walked in the kitchen and started making the baby's bottle as quickly as he could while also holding him.

Unfortunately, the baby started getting fussy when he realized what Keigo was up to. "It's okay bud I'm almost done," he reassured. Keigo sent out a feather again and tickled his son's face.

It's a good thing his feathers would oftentimes be a good distraction for the baby. And he also happened to finish making his bottle.

He bounced the baby lightly in his arms on his way back to the nursery. There was a rocking chair in there too so he sat down and placed the bottle down while he adjusted the baby in his arms comfortably.

Immediately, the baby knew what was going on and kicked his legs in excitement. "Hold your horses buddy, give me a minute."

Keeping his son in his arms, he reached down to get his bottle and made sure that he was sitting comfortably. The baby was starting to fuss due to his impatience.

Almost as if saying "come on, dad feed me already I'm hungry and I've waited for too long!"

Eventually, Keigo settled himself and the baby and held the bottle at his mouth. The baby, without missing a beat, took the bottle and contently drank his milk.

From time to time, the baby would drift off to sleep but Keigo would wake him up so he could finish his bottle with a trick he learned. Okay, he didn't exactly learn it himself but he got it from you. Tapping the bottom of the bottle with his fingernail, the baby opened his eyes and started drinking his milk again.

As his son drank and was drifting off to sleep again, Keigo looked down at him in adoration. Behind the baby's closed eyelids, his eyes matched his father's. A beautiful golden color. His hair was also a bit messy. He was also growing as he should be and his little rolls and belly along with his chubby cheeks were the cutest thing too.

Luckily, he was also pretty easygoing. He would only start fussing when he was tired, hungry, or needed his diaper changed. But like other babies, he would also start fussing sometimes out of nowhere and it would take a while to figure out what was wrong.

Keigo had to admit, he was really scared of becoming a father but also really excited. He was excited to have a baby with you so he could show them so much love and affection and spoil them. He was also excited for their important milestones such as when they first learn how to sit, crawl, walk, and talk along with many more to come. Yes, his hero work was busy but he'd somehow manage to spend as much time with his kid.

On the other hand, his fear of becoming a father stemmed from his own father. His father wasn't the best person and would be abusive. He distinctly remembers being a kid and hearing his father utter the words saying he wished he was never born. Even though he saw his dad as a little kid, that kinda ended when he was with the Hero Commission. And he might've had his dad for a short amount of time but some of what he said and did in that short time span stuck with him.

But, he knew that he had to be a way better father than his own dad ever was. And once his son was born, he was going to do everything in his power to be a good dad.

Keigo looked down at his son again and saw that he was sound asleep now. Removing the bottle from his mouth, he kept his son in his arms for a bit longer.

The baby stirred a little in his sleep and it appeared he would wake up again. Noticing this, Keigo cradled him and softly hummed a lullaby he's heard you sing and hum. In a short while, the baby calmed down and was asleep again.

Little did he know, you were standing at the doorway looking at both of them. Even though he was clearly so close to falling asleep right then and there, you could tell that Keigo was soaking up the time with his son.

Even though this sight was really precious and super heartwarming, you decided to walk in and put the baby in his crib so you and Keigo could go back to sleep.

"Did he fall back asleep?" You whispered softly, standing in front of them.

Keigo nodded. "Yeah. We're lucky he wasn't being extra fussy tonight. I think you should go back to bed though I think he'll wake up if he hears you."

Shaking your head, you gesture for him to hand over the baby. "He's my snuggle buddy though," he says as hands him off to you but a bit hesitant because he didn't want the baby to wake up.

There wasn't any need to worry about that though because the baby only stirred a little but went back to sleep.

"Papa took great care of you didn't he?" You cooed softy at him. The baby started stirring a little again but you rocked him gently and kissed his little forehead. "He's getting so big now."

"I know. Stop growing so fast, nugget." Keigo responded as he gave your temple a kiss. "We should go back to bed now."

Nodding, you walk over to the baby's crib and kiss his forehead one more time before putting him down to sleep. "Goodnight my love."

"Good night, nugget."

A/N: tysm for over 4K reads!! I've had brain rot of Keigo waking up in the middle of the night to his baby and he changes and feeds and sings/hums to him. Also, idk why but I referred to the baby as a "he" because that's what came to mind first. I also didn't have a name picked out so that's why I use "his/your son", "the baby", and "nugget". I wanted to get this out of my head.
