Messy hair

Y/n knew that Keigo's hair was messy but did not expect all the knots in it. How it wasn't noticeable on camera or in person, she didn't know. She realized this when she and Keigo were just watching a movie one evening and were cuddling after a long day.

She was sitting with her feet resting on an ottoman that matched their couch. Keigo was on his stomach and his head rested on her lap. At first, y/n only ruffled his hair softly from time to time until she started to scratch his scalp softly. And from there, she tried running her fingers through his hair when she quickly noticed the knots.

"Dammit, Keigo your hair has so many knots in it," she said. She continued to run her fingers though the tangled hair.

"Ow," he said.

"I'm gonna detangle it so stay still now," y/n said.

Throughout the rest of the movie, she de tangled his hair in small sections. Keigo would let out a few hisses from the pain but that didn't stop y/n from detangling. Once she was done, she noticed he had fallen asleep. She just continued playing with his hair and scratching his scalp and his back. He woke up only briefly and went back to sleep.

From then on, it was almost a habit that y/n would play with his hair, scratch his scalp and back and she'd also rub his upper back and shoulders. Well, whatever she could do without his wings being in the way too much.

Whenever they'd cuddle and y/n wasn't doing these things he'd grab one of her hands and place it on his head or back, signaling her to start. Other times, he's tell her instead of grabbing her hand.

Even though it seemed like y/n was the one who gave Keigo scratches and rubs on his back and scalp, he would also do the same. It was almost like a love language between the two. This was especially appreciated after a long and tiring day or when they just weren't feeling the best.

I honestly do not remember who did this sort of prompt/head canon thing but they mentioned how Hawks most likely has tangled hair because he's almost always flying because of hero work. This would result in y/n playing with his hair and he'd really like it and he'd fall asleep whenever  y/n would do that. I thought that was wholesome and cute and I couldn't pass up on that.
