Luke's POV
"Why don't you do chords for this and I'll take lead," I said to Michael he nodded and we began playing Out Of My Limit, a new song we were working on. The sound of Ashton's bass pedal kicking and Calum's bass made the house vibrate and made the snare on the drums constantly rattle. This was our last song before practice was over too.
We finished and I wiped the little bit of sweat off of my forhead. I set my guitar down next to Mikey's and sat on the couch he had set up in his basement.
"You guys wanna get some food?" Calum asked coming over and sitting next to me.
"Can't I have to leave in like five minutes."
"Why?" Michael came in.
"I'm taking Juliet out tonight," I gave a slight smile, they erupted in 'ooos'.
"Oh did you guys bang at the lake house?" Michael asked.
"Dude," Ashton cut him off getting the vibe that I didn't really want to answer that.
"What, just asking," Michael huffed.
"Alright, well I gotta go, see you guys tomorrow," I picked up my jacket and walked out of the house. It wasn't too far so I walked home as usual. Juliet should be home right now getting ready and I have about a half hour for myself. When I walked in the door my mom was watching tv with a cup of coffee and was grading papers from her students. I said a hello before hurrying upstairs. Juliet was just coming out of the shower with her hair blow dryed and a towel wrapped around her body. I quickly grabbed some clothes, kissed her cheek and before she could respond went into the bathroom to shower. I just needed to wash my hair and rinse off my body so it was relatively quick. I blow dryed my hair up and styled it into it's usual quiff. I put on my black skinny jeans, black converse, my red flannel, and my back leather jacket. It was about 8:25 when I finished and I'm assuming Juliet is done as well. So quickly I sprayed on some cologne and left the bathroom, when I went into the bedroom Juliet was putting on some bracelets and necklaces. She was in the dress she bought from on holiday, she also had on black creepers that gave her a extra inch or two of height.
"You look handsome," She said walking over to me and fixing the collar on my flannel.
"And you look gorgeous, as always," I replied moving some hair behind her ear. "Ready?"
"Yeah but Luke I have one question, how are we getting to wherever we are getting?" She added with a small chuckle.
"I'm sure my mom will drive us, sorry it's not the most romantic thing but we have a few more months until I can drive you places," I sighed and she slowely lifted my head up and pressed her lips to mine.
"Luke, it's okay, I wasn't expecting some limo, nwo c'mon." She grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs. My mom agreed to drive us to the place I told her, and didn't tell Juliet which she was upset about. We were sitting in the back together and I had my hand rested on her thigh.
"Ice cream?" She said once my mom stopped the car.
"Yup!" I grabbed her hand, thanked my mom and stepped out of the car.
"Why'd you have me get dressed up then?"
"Because this is just the beginning of our date," I grinned and pulled her inside. We both got vanilla ice cream with different toppings in a cup. She started walking toward a table but I stopped her.
"We're not eating here?" She asked and I shook my head.
She followed me to the outside tables where there was nobody else. "I thought we could eat out here," I said sitting down across from Juliet. We ate while making conversation about how our practices went. Once we finished I texted my mom, we've been here a little over 30 minutes and the stars are finally coming out so it's perfect. My mom arrived rather quickly to drive us to our next location, Juliet kept pestering me the whole way trying to know where we were going. Once again I thanked my mom and since this was closer to home I told her we'd just walk. She dropped us off and drove away leaving us alone.
