Mikey and I picked up everything we needed for our little campfire. Food, beer, and blankets. He also got the acoustic guitar out of his trunk that he brought. The guys were renting a fire pit currently so the rest of us were waiting.
Once they did come back, we made our way over and set out stuff down. In the center there was a large pile of wood with rocks surrounding it. There were then logs set up so you can sit. I put all the food down while Luke and Calum tried to light the fire.
They finally got it started and a large blaze of heat and light came upon us. I started clapping for them. I grabbed myself a beer, a blanket, and I brought the bag of marshmallows near me. I sat down on a log as everyone started getting themselves situated. Calum sat down next to Ashton since Rosie and Scarlett were already sitting next to each other. Michael was managed to fit on Calum and Ashton's seat too. So then left was Luke and I think they all did this on purpose. He came over and sat close to me so there was no space in between us. He opened the beer he got and took a sip before digging it into the sand, I did the same.
I took a marshmallow and put it lightly over the fire and passed the bag to Rosie who passed the bag to everyone else. I kept my eyes locked with the fire that I didn't even realize Luke had the guitar until he started playing.
I wrapped the blanket tighter around my body, dropped my marshmallow on the ground and turned to face him. He smiled at me before placing his fingers on the frets and clearing his throat. He had everyone's full attention and he began to strum.
