Juliet's POV
My shift just ended, I got the job at the local bakery to fill in since being in a band doesn't really make too much money. I unlocked the door to the apartment and said hello to Danny who was making diner.
See after Luke left, I knew we most likely wouldn't see each other again. Honestly it's easier that way, I knew every time I would see him I'd fall for him over and over but he's a musician. He would have to leave.
So after he left, I stayed at different places, different friends houses. Until Danny said I could live with him, as long as we split rent. I was more then happy and I moved my stuff to his house. The girls still talk to the guys, occasionally I'll walk in on a Skype and say hi to Mikey or Calum but if Luke was there I'd stay as far away as possible. It would hurt too much for the both of us to actually see and hear each other again.
So here we are, three months later. Being a Junior at high school really sucked. Especially when you're living with a 18 year old, trying to make a band work also while holding a part time job AND still trying to get over heartbreak.
As for Danny and I we've had this conversation, we are friends, nothing more, nothing less. I have no romantic feelings towards him at all and vice versa.
Although now since it is thanksgiving week, Danny and I are flying to the states. Since I don't talk to my family he said I can come with him to meet his, they live in California. He said his town is a lot more him. Rather then Australia beaches. He's more of a city boy he tells me. We'd be staying there for a week and our flight is at about 2 am, tonight.

We grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor belt and went to wait in the boarding area. We have about an hour and the flight from Los Angeles was just coming in. Danny was playing some stupid game on his phone and I was sitting and looking at the people coming in.
"Shit!" I cursed and put my hood up.
"What?!" Danny whisper yelled at me.
"Look to the right."
"What? I don't se-OHH," He said loudly.
"Shut up!" I covered his mouth due to all of the people who turned to look at him, including Ashton.
"Danny?" Ashton came running over and I put on my sunglasses and kept my head down.
"Hey Ash! What's up?" Danny stood up to hug Ashton.
"Who's this?" Ashton said pointing to me.
"Oh that's uh, that's my girlfriend. She fell asleep, so what are you guys doing here?" Danny stuttered.
"Ah, and we're home for holiday. Hopefully see the girls a bit, and family."
"Well sorry I couldn't stick around."
Then Calum and Mikey came over. I could feel Mikey's stare burning a hole in my head. They all said hello again and I feel like I just heard the conversation twice.
"So uh, where's Luke?" Danny asked them.
"Oh, he's over there listening to music. It's all he does anymore," Calum answered.
"Is he okay?" Danny said.
"Not really, he just kinda mopes around hoping she'd call him or something. He's really hoping she's still at his house though." Ashton replied.
Then his voice, it was him. I couldn't help the small smile on my face.
"Hey," was all he said, my heart fluttered.
"Hey Luke," Danny said cheerfully.
They continued talking for a bit until Danny and mine flight was called. I stood up and quickly walked away. Danny said goodbye to them. We started walking into the hallway but my arm was pulled.
"Go ahead!" Mikey yelled to Danny.
He turned to me and stared at me for a bit. He slowely pulled down my hood and took off my sunglasses.
"Juliet?" He whispered.
"Hi Mikey..."
Michael wrapped his arms tightly around me.
"I missed you," I hugged him back and felt the tears coming out of my eyes. I sniffed and shook as he held me.
"I've missed you too, don't cry."
"I'm sorry."
"Are you really dating Danny?" He asked and I shook my head.
"I guessed. I knew that was you, you can't hide from me. You apparently can hide from Luke though. Wanna tell me what happened?"
"I will but I can't right now. I'll call you once the flight lands okay? I promise."
"You better, and were going to be here a day after you guys come back so we are hanging out." Mikey kissed my head and hugged me again. "Now go, I'll talk to you later."

Mikey's POV
I can't believe it was Juliet. I knew it was her, I just had a feeling. Once I hugged her goodbye I walked back over to the boys.
"What was that about?" Ashton asked.
"Nothing, I'll tell you guys later," I put my hand on his back pushing him forward not wanting to talk about this now.
After we left for tour, Luke was a mess. The only thing he'd get up to do was play shows, occasionally he'd do a interview or two. He just sits in bed and writes and plays on his guitar. We've got some good songs out of it but still that's not good. I know he still calls her time to time, and I see her reasoning for not wanting to answer. I do think they should be back together though. I mean Rosie and I are still together? Calum and Scarlett are? Why can't her and Luke stay together? And why is she going to the states with Danny? I have so many questions that need to be answered.
I went home and settled in, my parents were down stairs making food.
I went on Twitter for awhile until my phone finally rang. "Hello?"
"Hi Mikey," Juliet's voice rang sweetly in my ear bringing a smile to my face. Of course I stayed in touch with her over these three months but I haven't heard her voice.
"What's up?"
"Well the flight just landed about an hour ago, so right now we are on our way to Danny's parents house. How about you?"
"Ah I'm just chilling and putting some stuff away, why are you in the states with Danny?" I asked.
"Oh we're going there for Thanksgiving, he invited me to come with him."
"Oh...alright, well do you want to tell me now what happened when we left?" I mumbled queitly not sure if I wanted to bring this up yet.
"I guess...well a few days before you guys left, in the morning Luke told me you guys were leaving for 6 months. Believe me I'm more then happy for you guys and you deserve to be doing what you're doing but Luke needs to understand that I can't wait 6 months for you guys to come back when he's out touring the world, meeting new people, new girls. He's a musician, this isn't going to be a one time thing, it's going to happen over and over again and I can't do that Mikey." Her voice cracked a lot so she kept her voice low.
"Juliet, I'm sorry. You know Luke loves you more then anything though, even now he still does. You could've made it work. Just, why don't you try again when you come back to Australia?"
"No...Mikey I can't see Luke anymore." She said and I could practically hear her shake her head.
"Why?"
"Because, because if I do I'll fall in love with him all over again."
