Chapter 12 - Kaisha's battle

Kaisha's POV

"Hello" a voice says behind me. My eyes widen and I quickly turn around. Standing in front of me is...

A little girl. (A/N: Did you think Grimmjow? Ha ha, you're wrong)

She's not just a little girl, she's an arrancar. Or an espada, I can't tell. Aww, she's so cute. She looked about 10 years old. How could she fight this young? She had long blond hair that were in two pigtails and blue eyes. Almost covering her eyes, was a fringe. Her clothes were the standard arrancar/espada clothes, white with black outlines. Just looking at her clothes made me think of Grimmjow.

"Hi" I said after a while. Is that what you say to an arrancar? This is so awkward. Actually, what would be awkward is if this girl beat me.

"What's your rank?" the girl asked me suddenly. What is my rank?

"Umm. I don't really know. I'm a substitute soul reaper so I don't really have a rank" I said.

"You don't seem like a powerful soul reaper" the girl replied bluntly. How unfriendly.

"Well, do you wanna find out?" I asked. That was not something I would usually say. Why would I say that?

The girl smirked. "Sure thing, umm...." she trailed off. She gave me a look that said "what's your name?" Right, she didn't know my name.

"I'm Kaisha Kyuto" I told her.

"I'm Taiyo Tamashi" she introduced herself. 'Taiyo' means 'sun' and 'Tamashi' means 'soul'.

"Okay. If you want to fight me then bring it" Taiyo motioned for me to come. Could I hurt a little girl? No. Could I hurt a little girl arrancar? Maybe.

I charged forward with my zanpakuto aimed at her. "Burst to life and incinerate, Kasai Dansa!" I yelled and my zanpakuto lit up on fire. Taiyo put her hand up and made a sword out of light. What the? Is that why she's called Taiyo? Because of the sun. I have to admit, her power is pretty cool.

Her sword of light clashed with mine. Then we separated and then clashed again. Our swords were kind of twisted, with mine being a 'Y' shape and all. I twisted my zanpakuto so it was aimed at her. Fire balls were made and sent her way. Taiyo jumped back and dodged them all. I sent some more powerful ones, faster this time. Taiyo got some light from the sun light and made a light shield. The fire balls disappeared. How?

Taiyo sent what looked like discs of light at me. I flipped around, dodging them all. Don't forget that I do gymnastics, ballet and dance. I loved to do flips during battles, not for the fun of it, of course.

But I must have been a bit distracted. Okay, a lot distracted. Some of the discs were aimed at me but some weren't. They landed in a circle around me. Taiyo smiled at me before I saw this light dome go around me. You can't blame me for getting trapped in here! I said some of the discs were aimed at me.

"You better wish you had your sunglasses with you" I heard Taiyo's smug voice outside the dome of light. Okay. I wish I had my sunglasses with me. I looked around me, seeing nothing but light. I tried touching the dome but it sent pain through my arm and my body. Damn.

"Hikari, buraindo to yaku!" Taiyo yelled. In English: "Light, blind and burn!"

The light shone brighter in the dome. All I could see was yellow everywhere. It was getting brighter and brighter. My eyes were hurting and I was getting a headache. Then the rays of light touched my skin and it burned. I winced and quickly tried to dodge the next ray I saw. It got worse and I couldn't dodge it anymore. The rays of light came from different directions.
