Now that we had a bigger house and a baby on the way, JJ and I invited our friends to spend Christmas with us, seeing as neither of us had any parents to spend it with. Of course they all agreed and I was looking forward to spending more time with everyone.

I volunteered to make the eggnog, as after being taught by Rose Cameron a few years ago, I had mastered the recipe.

"Want me to taste it?" JJ offered sweetly, knowing I couldn't drink because I was pregnant.

"I know my eggnog recipe is flawless, my love, but go ahead. I don't accept any criticism though!" I scolded playfully.

JJ took a sip from the ladle and I laughed at his excited face as he grinned.

"Perfect, just like you," he praised, kneeling and pressing a kiss to my growing stomach.

"Your mommy is very talented."

I ruffled his hair lovingly and he stood up straight again to pull me into a kiss.

"Are you two lovebirds nearly ready? We want eggnog!" John B yelled teasingly from the living room.

"I'm coming I'm coming!" I chuckled, attempting to lift the bowl but JJ scoffed and lifted it easily from my arms.

"Let me take care of you, baby."

It was the best Christmas I'd ever had. I was surrounded by everyone who loved me, my daughter unwrapping presents and laughing excitedly at the new toys my friends had brought her, and another baby on the way. JJ still hadn't given me a present yet, not that I should expect one after everything he'd done for me, but I'd heard him whispering to John B earlier about how excited he was to give me 'the gift of a lifetime'. After we'd eaten Christmas dinner and my friends were tipsy off my homemade eggnog, JJ crawled practically inside the tree to retrieve something I couldn't make out yet. My friends' light chatter had quieted down and Kiara was whispering something to Flora who was sat on her knee.

"Sunny, my love," JJ started, and my eyes starting watering from the pregnancy hormones, "will you do me the greatest honour and marry me," he finished, getting down on one knee and presenting me with a small velvet box containing the most beautiful ring I had ever seen.

"I-JJ...I don't know what to say!"

"Say yes! O-or don't...it's up to you," he stuttered, getting nervous.

"Yes! Of course yes! I love you!" I squealed, rushing forward into his arms. He carefully avoided my stomach but dipped me delicately in his arms and kissed me better than he'd ever kissed me before.

"I-we're getting married!" I said in disbelief, staring at the blonde idiot with nothing but love in my eyes.

"Congratulations!" Kiara yelled, rushing forward and hugging me tightly, followed by Sarah and then the boys.

"You finally did it, bro," Pope chuckled, patting JJ on the back affectionately.

"Welcomed to married life," John B said happily.

The end.
