I ducked as two black ravens soared over my head, cawing quietly.
I hissed at them. I knew what those ravens truly were, eyes for Odin himself. I hoped he enjoyed watching his adopted son rant about how much he hated the man. One of the ravens looked at me and I swear I saw its golden eye wink at me. I sneered at the pest and it flew off, only to land on top of the cliff Thor and Loki occupied.
"I have grown, Odinson, in my exile. Oh, I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, seen the things it can unlock, and when I control that power-"
Thor did catch that phrase. "Who showed you this power?"
Loki stopped, realizing that he may have gone too far.
I wanted to scream in frustration. It was too late for him to rescind his words now.
Thor continued. "Who controls the would-be king?"
I'd had enough of hiding. I needed to reign Loki in and take care of Thor somehow. I rocketed into the sky, and sped the few yards to stand atop the cliff the former brothers were on.
"I am a king," Loki shouted.
"Now Loki, we've talked about lying to people. You know it's wrong. " Kneeling on the upper part of the cliff, I chastised Loki like a parent would a naughty child. I was rewarded with his withering glare.
"You're not a king yet." I smirked before turning my attention to Thor.
His eyes took in my battle armor and sword as I dropped down from the ledge, standing to the side of Loki and him.
"To answer your question, Odinson, my king controls Loki, but right now, your former brother is under my control. I guess you can say I'm the person pulling his strings, the woman behind the would-be."
I tried not to laugh as Loki glowered at me. I hadn't said anything that wasn't true, so he could bite me.
