Chapter 5: A Wish

Neontra couldn't stop thinking about the battle she just witnessed. The action, the agility, the intensity, the glory, the praise! All of it was racing through her head as the five of them walked towards the dormitory. Elizabeth was at the head of the party while Larquisha and Natasha were behind her. Neontra was walking next to Adrianna. The Flareon was going on and on about her day at school but Neontra wasn't listening, she was too busy thinking about the Battle Stadium. She had to go back! The stadium was calling her name!
Neontra smelt something burning then she felt the intense heat on her tail. She snapped back into reality and saw her tail on fire! Neontra let out a loud yelp as she attempted to pin her tail down. Larquisha heard the cry for help and a line of cool blue water came from her mouth. The blue liquid landed on Neontra's tail and conquered the reddish orange flames.
"What was that for Adrianna?!" said Neontra as she grabbed her tail and squeezed the water out of it. "Well maybe if you were paying attention to me, this wouldn't have happened!" stated Adrianna as she flicked her pale, golden tail. Neontra loved her sister but she hated it when her Flareon sister would burn her. Elizabeth pointed at a peculiar building. It was a tall black building with silver strikes here and there.
"This is the dormitory!" said Elizabeth as she twirled around the front of the building. Her hot pink feathers glistened in the sunlight while Neontra gazed at the dormitory. "This is were we have to live?" asked Adrianna as she watched Elizabeth twirl happily. "Yes!" replied the Aromatisse. "It was a rhetorical question pinky!" stated Adrianna as she stepped into the building. Neontra, Larquisha, Natasha, and Elizabeth followed Adrianna into the dormitory but this didn't last long. Soon Elizabeth was back in the lead because Adrianna had no idea were to go after all, they were new here.
The inside was way better than the outside! There was a crystal chandelier in the middle of the lobby. There was a black desk with some Pokemon lined up near it, that must be the check-in desk, on the left side of the room. The right side of the room had two vending machine and some couches here and there. A Vaporeon fountain was right under the chandelier which made a fine center piece to this fine establishment. Elizabeth guided the four eeveelutions towards the check-in desk. The four of them were still in awe of the place for it seemed like the whole room was sparkling. As Neontra followed her sisters she noticed a Meowstic sitting in one of the couches. She recognized him immediately, he was the one at the Battle Stadium! How did he get here so fast?  That was one question she was determined to answer. Neontra padded over to the golden cat out of pure curiosity. Before she could reach him, Larquisha jumped in front of her.
"Come on we have to check-in together!" said Larquisha as she dragged her sister towards the other side of the room.
"Great so much for talking to him." mumbled Neontra as she watched the distance between her and the Meowstic grow larger. Elizabeth smiled when she saw Neontra being dragged but Elizabeth quickly checked the girls in and lead them to their rooms. The four sisters thought that they would be in separate room but when Elizabeth lead them all to the same room they were thrilled. Elizabeth swiped a card on a silver Shaymin which caused the door to unlock. The four eeveelutions dashed into their new room with smiles on their faces. The room was quite big for the eeveelutions. They weren't use to living in a room the size of the house and that wasn't even their own bedrooms! This place was their new home even though it looked like five-star hotel room!

Neontra found herself searching for the Meowstic. She wanted to ask him so many questioned. Neontra wondered down the vast hallway that lead her to the main lobby. Once she exited the hallway she noticed that the Meowstic was still sitting on the couch. Neontra padded over to him...again. Her tail was curled up at the end and her fur was now shining for some odd reason.
She stopped right in front of him and was about to speak but then she was cut off. "If you want to sign up for the Battle Royal this weekend you have to ask the school principle." stated the Meowstic. Neontra took to steps back before speaking, "Wait! I don't want to sign up for the Battle Royal, I just wanted to ask you what it feels like to battle at the stadium."
The Meowstic flicked his tail and said, "You can experience it first hand if you sign up." Neontra rolled her eyes. He did have a point though, if she signed up for the battle royal she could experience the thrill of battling first hand. "Fine, I'll sign up but where do I go to do that?" she asked as she gazed into the Meowstic's eyes. He motioned his tail towards a Talonflame with a clipboard and a baseball cap on his head. "You can sign up over there. See you on the battlefield." said the Meowstic as he rose from his seat and walked towards the hallway that she came from. Neontra smiled while she headed towards the shouting Talonflame. It was time for her wish to come true!
