Chapter 16: An Outing?

Neontra had followed Solar to a weird establishment near the school. It looked like a restaurant but there was something off about it. Once Neontra walked in she realized that this was not just a fast food restaurant, it was a high class restaurant. There was a waterfall in the middle of the place while the tables were scattered around the centerpiece. There were all types of Pokémon laughing and chatting about there day as the friend group walked to the receptionist. 

"How can I help you?" asked a Meloetta when Solar arrived at the desk. Solar told her that she wanted a certain table but Neontra wasn't listen instead she was too busy gazing at the fancy attire this place had. 

"Neontra come on we got a table already" called Hannah which caused the Espeon to snap out of her trance. Neontra quickly headed over to where her friends and her sisters where sitting. As the friend group waited for a waiter to come by, they decided to discuss what happened today.

"Well I went to the salon to get my feathers groomed." stated Elizabeth as she brushed her now glossy pelt of feathers. Solar squeaked when she saw how shiny Elizabeth's feathers were. Hannah placed her little paw on the table before she spoke, "Well me, Solar, Totem, and Neontra were practicing at the Battle Stadium today." Totem nodded his head while Neontra looked at the floor in embarrassment. She didn't want to talk about her battle today after all she lost even though she had a huge lead on Solar. Adrianna looked at her sister then she said, "Well me, Larquisha and Nevaeh had been practicing on our singing skills." 

Is she trying to make me feel guilty? Thought Neontra as a Frosglass came up to the table with a notepad in her hand. "How can I help y'all this evening?" she asked which caused the tension between Adrianna and Neontra to disappear. Elizabeth ordered a Caesar salad while Hannah and Solar ordered two cheeseburgers each. Neontra and her sisters order the exact same meal, chicken tenders with a side of mac and cheese. Totem ordered a pasta with alfredo sauce on it and with that the Frosglass left to get them their orders.
