Chapter 6: Is That A Challenge?!

The second day of school was in full swing! Neontra waved goodbye to her sisters as she headed to her second period class. Neontra didn't want to admit it but she was happy that she got classes that her sisters did not have.
Yesterday, Neontra had told her sisters that she signed up for the Battle Royal which caused them to become furious with her. So having a class or two without her siblings was a huge relief. She entered a vast gym and this time there was a Talonflame in the front of some students standing in a line. It was the same Talonflame that she went to for the sign-ups. Her heart almost stopped when she realized what class she was in, she was in P.E.!

"Alright students let me see what ya got!" shouted the Talonflame as he stretched out his wings and began to flap them. This class was going the best one Neontra had so far or at least that's what she thought. She padded over to the line of students and stood by an alolan Raichu.
Suddenly the Talonflame shot a ball of fire right at his students! This wasn't an average P.E. class! A Glaceon shot a beam of ice from its mouth which caused the fire to be quenched.  The Talonflame nodded his head before he landed on the freshly waxed floor of the gym.
"Nice work! I am loving this class already!" he shouted while he picked up the clipboard that was right next to his talons. "NOW TIME FOR ATTENDANCE!!!" yelled the Talonflame as he started to call out the names of his students. Neontra heard her name and said here then the Talonflame went over to her.
"Hey I remember you, your the one who signed up for the Battle Royal!" he said then he went back to taking attendance. It seemed like all eyes were staring at Neontra as she stood next to a Raichu. The Raichu smiled at Neontra and said, "Hey my name is Solar and I signed up for the Battle Royal too!"
"Hello Solar, my name is Neontra." said the green Espeon as she watched the Talonflame place the clipboard down.
"Alright class! I know you are probably wondering why there is no equipment in this room! Well I'm hear to tell you that we are ordering new equipment so you will have to sit on the bleachers...for now." stated the Talonflame. Some of the students said the word 'YES' while others said 'No.' All of the students went over to the bleachers just like they were instructed to do. Neontra sat down on the first row of the bleachers while most of the other students went higher than her. Solar floated over to Neontra and sat next to her.
"Hello again! I was wondering... do you want to come sit with me and my friends?" asked Solar. Neontra nodded her head and with that, the female Raichu guided Neontra towards there destination. Solar stopped near a group of four Pokémon. "Hey everyone this is Neontra! Neontra this are my friends!" They waved there paws but they didn't speak. Solar floated over to them and shouted, "INTRODUCE YOURSELVES... NOW!"
The first two Pokémon were silver pelted Eevees. "My name is Raven and my brother's name is Renolden." said the female Eevee as she pointed to the other Eevee next to her. The third Pokémon was a little Snivy, the Snivy flicked her tail before she spoke, "My name is Hannah but you can call be Hani."
The fourth Pokémon was a male Meowstic who Neontra recognized once he spoke, "My name is Totem, fancy meeting you here." Solar tilted her head when she heard the comment. "Wow, you two know each other?" asked the Raichu as she placed her paw on Raven's tail. "Well not really, I mean we only talked once." said Neontra then she sat down next to Solar. Raven flicked her tail which caused Solar to chase after it. Neontra smiled at her new friend. The Snivy moved letting her feet dangle as she stared at Neontra. "You know, all of us are competing in the Battle Royal! Not to brag or anything but I'm going to win!" said Hannah as she rose from her sitting position and stood on the bleachers.
Totem let his two tails brush against each other he wasn't going to accept the comment from Hannah. "You already know who's going to win and that Pokémon is me." stated Totem which caused his friends to yell at him.
Neontra shrugged her shoulders, she wasn't going to fight over who was going to win but she knew that she had tons of training to catch up on.
