Chapter 8: Practice Makes Perfect

The three Eeveeltions stared at their pink sister as they stood at the doorway. Did they hear their sister correctly? Was that really her voice?
Larquisha fiddleed with her paws before she spoke, "I may have been practicing my vocal range while I was an Eevee."
"Well that explains it," stated Adrianna as she padded into the room. Larquisha's room was completely pink with some purple here and there. She had some furniture in her room but most of her room was empty. Larquisha rose from her bed then she leaped off of it. "So, I assume you girls need a teacher and I will gladly be that teacher." said Larquisha as she padded up to her sisters. Neontra nodded her head before she padded out of the room. This was probably their only chance to get better at singing. Adrianna and Natasha agreed as well before they left Larquisha's room. This would be a weird experience for all of them.

"No! No! No! Try it again from the top!" shouted Larquisha as she adjusted her cap. The four Eeveelutions were on the football field trying to practice singing. Neontra and Adrianna were getting the hang of it while Natasha still needed some help. Larquisha blew her whistle and her three sisters began to sing again.

"Yes! That's what it should sound like every time." stated Larquisha as she joined the three of her sisters in song.

"And stop." said Larquisha as she wagged her tail. They were all making progress and it was all thanks to Larquisha. She tried to hold in her joy as she watched her sisters gasp for air. They had been practicing all day long and now they could finally rest.
"Good job girls! If we keep practicing everyday then we'll have the perfect voices." said Larquisha as she padded over to her sisters. Neontra let out a long sigh. EVERYDAY?! That was too much to ask. Neontra had to practice for her upcoming Battle Stadium tryouts.
"I'm sorry but I can't keep practicing like this." stated Neontra when she finally had her regular breathing pattern.
"WHAT?! You mean you can't practice because of that stupid stadium thing!" shouted Larquisha as she put her face right in front of Neontra's. "That's right! I can do both but, you have to limit the time frame." said Neontra as she backed away from Larquisha. It took the Vaporeon a while to respond, "FINE, but you can't be late!"
Neontra nodded her head and left the field. This was going to be a huge problem after all, Larquisha wasn't the only one who disagreed with what Neontra was doing.
"HEY! PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!" shouted Neontra before she exited the field entirely.
