Neontra shot out of the bed and landed right next to Totem who was watching her with a peculiar expression.
"You shouldn't be roaming around on your paws, there still scraped up," he commented while he flipped the page of a magazine.
OH! SO YOU WANT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO?! Neontra screamed internally as she padded around the room just to annoy the golden feline. To her dismay, Totem didn't seem bothered by her let alone show any type of emotional annoyance. Neontra flicked her tail before she spoke,
"You're sooooooo boring, you know that right?"
Totem flinched at the comment but he didn't say a single word. Neontra saw the sudden movement so she continued to pester Totem.
"Oh, so you have two tail? Does that mean you need extra help with your balance?" asked Neontra as a smirk appeared on her face. This time Totem placed the magazine down and glared at Neontra.
"Say something!" Neontra pleaded while Totem rose from his seat. He padded over to Neontra, picked her up bridal style and threw her on the bed. Before Neontra could comment Totem said, "Stay" and with that he left the room.

A few hours passed before Totem returned with a fresh plate of baked goods. Neontra's mouth watered at the very sight of the glorious pastries. She lunged at the plate but Totem swiftly yacked the plate away from Neontra leaving the poor hungry Espeon lying on the floor.
"You think I got this food for you? Please, I don't feed other pokes." said Totem as he sat down on the bed and began to munch on a cinnamon bun. A loud growl filled the room and Neontra looked at Totem with puppy-dog eyes. "Please! Please! Please!" cried Neontra as she climed onto the bed and sat next to Totem leaving their faces close to each other. Totem rolled his eyes before giving Neontra a donut. Neontra felt her cheeks heat up when she noticed how shy Totem looked.
Why do I feel this way?
Neontra slowly took the donut then she devoured it within a couple of ferocious bites.
"Woe. Woe, calm down, no need to eat it so fast" he chuckled as he gave her another pastrie for her to snack on. Neontra took the pastries from Totem's paws then she slowly ate it as she tried to stop her cheeks from heating up any further. She felt her heart beat increase when one of Totem's tails brushed past her skin.
"HEY! WATCH IT!" screamed Neontra as she jumped up from the bed and landed on the soft carpet. Totem didn't say anything, he just laughed at Neontra's reaction.
Ba Bum Ba Bum
Neontra's heart was throbbing in her chest as she watched Totem smile at her sudden outburst.
Why me? Why now?
