Because Of Kumu

Chapter 1 -The Firsts-

I'm in my room dreaming about auditioning in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) which I know na I will never be part of. Last April 2018 was the first audition on Araneta in Quezon City, Philippines for season 8 batch, but our flight is the 19th of April going to states, so wala na akong time para sa audition, so pinalagpas ko nalang wishing that babawi nalang ako next season.
Year 2020 when they started the next PBB audition, since may pandemic noon, all auditioners are online. Na-disappoint ako at first kase 18+ lang ang pwedeng sumali non. The auditions will be held at KUMU, a friendly filipino app. I am thinking about installing it, not because of friends, or look for someone, I just wanna audition, that's it.
AUGUST 2, 2020, is the date when I installed the KUMU, syempre di ko pa alam gamitin, so I didn't take kumu that serious. I searched PBB and followed their account. Triny ko rin naman makipag communicate with people there, until I found "We the prodigy", It is a group account, dalawang tao lang nasa livestream non, I forgot the other man's name pero yung isa, his name is JB. They're really nice actually. They intertain me very well, we talked about how disappointed I am about not being able to audition in PBB, they even tell me to sing a song, so I did, and they love it.
After that time, I never had any chance to talk with them again, ~but I am hoping to meet them again, someday...~
That's the time where I tried to go livestream, it was fun actually, and a lot of people that are loving the songs I sing. Mga third or fourth na livestream ko, I met ate Dang, she is so nice and she even call her other friends to entertain me, and Ang damu kong nakilalang mga ate at kuya because of her. There, I met kuya Marthy, (he's 25 years old, he is funny, and strict *for me*). Ate Zay, (she is around 21 years old, taga UAE siya, she have a older sister named Latifa, but I call her ate toofie, ate toofie is kinda famous on tiktok, she has 6M likes on tiktok and 288k+ followers, she's so pretty and so good at make up, that's why🤷‍♀️). Ate Thine, (she have 1 twin kids, a boy and a girl, and 1 younger son), Kuya Carlo (our also comedian in the group, he have a cousin named Marela, she's one of our singer in the group), Kuya Neyts ( Siya yung taong tahimik lang ba, pero funny/comedian din pag minsan), Kuya Bj (The husband of ate Dang, and the Founder of our group), Kuya Neil (The person I liked before, I mean, nagkacrush nako once, but I didn't tell him 'cause of our age gap), Kuya Dex (Ka-loveteam ni ate Zay, pala-mute sa LS, pero maingay pag ginanahan magsalita), Ate Dona (She's really a jolly person, pero di kami nagkakausap masyado so I don't really know her), and many mooorrree!!!
Kuya Neil and I know each other already before I met them, we used to have a group called "Twinklers" or "Katwinkle", nabuo yung group na yon dahil sa pag-kanta namin ng Twinkle-Twinkle song sa livestream.
     Days passed, and I met kuya Paul, I admit...He's kinda cute, but I think its to early to like him, and also our age gap, so I just ignored it and just treat him as my kuya. Ang dami ko ding nameet na new friends, or should I say new "Kuya's" in his livestream, and they also treat me as their little sister as well.
     "Team Puyat" is my First ever team in KUMU, most of them are from ate Dang's friends. We called it Team Puyat not because lagi kaming puyat, well, people in the Philippines are, but most of us aren't, iba iba kasi kami ng lugar, may taga Kuwait, may taga Germany, US, and Italy, isn't it interesting?
     One day, while I am scrolling through newbie streamers, there's this one guy who caught my attetion, and he's really kind of cute (atleast).
     "Masilip nga ng makita natin kung magiging close natin toh." I murmured. The I joined in his livestream.
     "Hi elle_04!!" He greeted, his name is Yuan.
     "Hello po!" I greeted back, and joined in his stream.
     ~In kumu there's two options of doing live, you can be either go livestream or just an audiostream, you can't see or people can't turn on their cameras during audiostream, kasi nga audio lang, but doing livestream with options of how many slots you want, you can open and off their cameras.~
     Naka audio livestream lng si Yuan so I can just hear his voice. We talked a lot that time, and I'm the only one who's up there to talk to so I stayed. Nung medyo comfortable na kami sa isa't-isa, he confessed something.
     "Elle, satin lng to hahaha, di ko'to totoong account, dummy lang to, sshh!!", then I paused.
     "So...This isn't your real name? I asked.
     "Oo, basta, makikilala mo rin ako hahaha, magpapakilala din ako." he stated, then after non, I never have any conversation with him again. I'm a bit upset about it, but I guess I'll never meet him again🤷‍♀️.
     Kumu is like my routine now, I woke up, washed my face, I got dressed and as usual, kumuu!! Di na ako nakaka facebook nang dahil sa kumu, ni messenger ko muntikan ko pa nadelete hahahah!!
     Pagka open ko ng kumu, may nagmessage sakin na di ko kakilala, yenyen_26 yung username niya, and I felt something reallyyy familiar in him.
     "Hi elle!!" Yenyen greeted.
     "Uhm? Hi?" I greeted back thinking who it is.
     "Kilala mo pa ako? HAHA" he asked.
     "Luh? Hindi? Why?" sagot ko. Kasi as in, I never met someone named yenyen_26, ever!!
     "Grabe ka naman, nag usap pa tayo ng napakalate at napaka haba tapos di mo na ako kilala?" drama niya, like who the hell is this? I never talked with this guy, ni hindi ko nga to finofollow, this guy is creeping me out bruh!!
"Saang ls tayo nag—" I paused, then I remember someone, a person who says "Hindi ko'to real account", Yeeesss!!! Its Yuaaann!!!!
"YUAN?!" reply ko
"Shhh!!!" biglang reply niya, I mean.. Bat niya 'ko pinapatahimik kung kami lng naman nagchachat?
"So ikaw nga? Gagi kaa!!" reply ko.
"huwag mong sabihin ha?" request niya.
"Ah oki!" sagot ko, and the friendship begun, walang araw na hindi kami nagkakausap, and because of him, I stayed in kumu.
One day, may shinare siyang livestream ng friend niya, inferness, may itsura, di rin naman siya naka livestream so pinuntahan ko na baka nandun din siya.
     "Uy!! Elle! Elle up ka dito!" yayá ni kuya Yen so ako namang pala desisyon, umakyat agad. (pogi din si host eh bat ba?). Pag akyat ko, nagmute ako agad kasi di ko rin naman alam sasabihin ko or ikwekwento ko u know what im sayin.
     "Hoy Elle? Shuta ka bat ka nagmute?" eka ng Yen, so nagtype ako sa comment section.
     "Wala lang, nahihiya lang ako." I commented.
     "Anong hiya? Di ka nga nauubusan ng kwento sa ls ko kahapon!?" bulgar ng kuya Yen, pasalamat to crush ko 'to, kung hindi pinatulan ko na to. dejk.
     Di nagtagal, may mga nakijoin na din sa ls namin. We met ate keysi, kuya christian, and Jude. dun din nabuo ang team namin called WBB or We Bear Bears. Lahat kami nakaprofile ng WBB filter non with earphones dapat para wala kaming katulad na ibang picture sa ibang tao, a lot of people actually joined in the group, but none of them stayed because a lot of them aren't active anymore, and yung iba syempre may mga mamemeet din na group of friends. Like Ate Keysi got her new family/group, Christian suddenly disappeared, kuya LJ streamed on his own and got verified ( Tawag ng mga tao sa Kumu is bluecheck instead of the term "verified") The only people who stayed as a WBB are Kuya Yen, Jude, me and Gab. But one day, di na nagsasama sa iisang ls sila kuya Gab and kuya Yen, and my friend kuya Ej is so curious about it, we have a lot of friends na di kabilang sa wbb pero sila yung mga kaibigan tlga na nanjan lng di dahil ka grupo mo sila, dahil kaibigan mo tlga, at that time, may mga nakikilala kaming ibang tao or new people sa ls ni kuya Yen, and also sa ls ni kuya Gab. I asked about why they're separated on livestreaming already unlike before and kuya Yen stayed silent. Marami din kaming nakilala sa ls ni kuya Yen, there's kuya Bhert (treb), Kuya Jules, kuya JM, and kuya Jericho.
     Kuya Ej and I are so curious about what's happening between kuya Gab and kuya Yen. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, Ej messaged me.
     "Sis! may nalaman ako!!" then he called, I was busy that time so I missed the call, but after I got my works done, I messaged him back.
     " Why?" I asked, then ofcourse, he called.
     "Uy bes! eto nga, kanina kasi nung nasa ls ako ni Gab may narinig ako." introduction niya HAHAHA.
     "Ano? Ano? Ano?" I asked excitingly.
     "Si Gab tsaka si kuya Yen, mag-ex pala! Nandun si kuya Jules nung narinig ko." He told me, and my jaw dropped after he said that.
     "Wtf?! Yung totoo? Omg!!" I reallyy can't imagine kung anong itsura ko non, sobrang gulat na gulat ako, as in!! Crush ko yung dalawang yon, shuta? Magjowa pala ang mga gago? HAHAHAHA! Nung nalaman ko yun, talagang di ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako, malulungkot o ano e HAHAHA.
     "Anjan ka pa sis?" tanong ni kuya Ej sa call.
     "Yes...I'm just... I don't know, I'm speechless bruh." sagot ko.
     Medyo galit si kuya Yen samin non dahil sa kakulitan naming dalawa ni kuya Ej, we can't blame our selves, we're just curious! I knew I need to confess, I need to tell him about it. After we talked, I messaged kuya Yen privately.
     "Kuya Yen, kilala na namin kung sino ex mo, tbh, natatawa lang ako kasi shemay? Yung dalawang crush ko mag ex pala?! HAHAHA, dapat nga magsorry ako kasi crush ko jowables mo eh." Kuya Yen already knew that I have crush on him, dun ko na nalaman kung bakit nalaman ni Gab na gusto ko siya kahit na di ko naman sinasabi sa iba.
     "Naspeechless lang ako nung nalaman ko, ayokong sumama loob mo dahil nalaman namin sa iba, and ayoko din namang sumama loob mo sa taong yun dahil hindi niya rin kasalanan. Kumbaga nag open-up lang siya sa kabila then ikaw naman, nag open-up din samin. Yun lang kuya Yen, always ka paring magsabi samin ha?" I texted, then nagbiro ako bigla dahil napaka drama ng message ko.
     "NBI ata toh? Kaya di na kita kukulitin! It's ok, nandito lang kami, laging nakasupporta sayo okay? Have a good day!" I ended. Gabi samin that time so natulog na ako after kong sinabi sakanya yun, sobrang nahihiya ako sa mga nasabi ko, pero wala eh, nasabi ko na.
     Before ako matulog, nagfefacebook muna ako, dun ko tlga kinukuha yung antok ko, then maya-maya nag message sakin si kuya Ej.
     "Kakausapin ko na si kuya Yen."
     "I already did :)" I replied.
     "Pota ka, inunahan mo ako, ano sabi mo?" tanong niya. Then nagscreenshot ako tapos sinend ko sakanya lahat.
     "HAHAHA BAT GANYAN? BUSET KA!" capslock niyang reply sakin.
     "Wala akong masabi eh." which is totoo naman? Tsaka nagburst out lang ung emotions ko, so kung anong machat ko, yun na yun.
     "Alam mo, pabayaan nalang natin" reply niya, then nagpaalam na ako para matulog.

     Kinabukasan, I received a message from kuya Yen, then dali dali kong binasa.
     "Ok lang baliw." he replied
     "Eh bat hindi ka namamansin?" tanong ko.
     "Luh?" sagot niya. That's it huh? Sa haba haba ng message ko "Luh baliw" lang ang natanggap ko? Kagaling mong nilalang. Hinayaan ko nalang, basta, case closed.
     Remember kuya Jules? Siya yung napaka close naming friend, he was a bisexual guy pero shuta pogi non, kamukha non si Conan Gray, tapos pag nagmakeup naman yon, sobrang ganda niya as in, babaihan mukha😩❤️.
     "Sis!!!" chat ni Ej ng wala sa oras.
     "Why??" tanong ko, hmm...I smell chika! Nagsend si kuya Ej ng screenshot galing sa tweeter, which is yung tweet nila kuya Yen at Jules.
     "Feeling ko may something sakanila?" he stated.
     "Hayst, no comment nako jan." I answered.
     "Eh? Kaibigan ni Gab si Jules tapos ngayon magjowa sila nung ex niya?" he replied.
     "Kung jan sila masaya, why not diba? Mali man sa paningin ng iba, pero jan sila masaya eh." I stated. Then he keep telling me na mali tlaga, I mean, I'm not saying that it is ok to have a relationship with your friend's ex, it would be weird for some of the people, but folks, we really need to be matured about it, so what kung jowa niya ex ng kaibigan niya? It isn't your problem girl, its their's, as long as they know what's wrong and what's right, then their good.
