Chapter 4: Job

Aang smiled widely "Okay! Great! I'll find a way to earn more money to pay rent. Thank you thank you so much." Aang said very happily.

"Why don't I help you find a job." Katara offers.

It was late into the night and almost everyone was asleep.

Aang was sleepless because he was cold in his arms and the couch wasn't the most comfortable. Aang pulled the blanket up to cover his arms but now his feet were exposed.

Ughhh why does this blanket have to be so short?

Then all of a sudden the house was shaking and Aang saw the glass of the water moving and he freaked out and got up and ran out and to discover Katara outside drinking tea.

"Katara there's an earthquake!" Aang whispered shouted.

Katara just chuckled " you see this house doesn't have a strong foundation so it moves when there is a lot of movement especially when someone is doing IT" Katara explained.

Aang thought about it then said. "Oh." Aang sat down next to katara.

There was just silence but it wasn't awkward it was just comfortable and calming silence.

The house was still moving a little.

"Trust me they won't last so long." Katara said.

"Really?" Aang asked.

"Don't believe me. That won't even last a song." Katara said

"Prove it." Aang said.

Katara started singing a song and stood up and danced a little while singing and Aang was just smiling and chuckling.

(Idk what song to put so it's up to you what song she's singing and dancing to.)

Kataas was just a quarter into the song and the houses stopped moving.

"See." Katara said with a slight smug face.

Aang just smiled and quietly clapped.

Katara bowed and said "thank you thank you."

Katara sat back down and aang asked.

"What song was that?"

"You don't know that song?!" Katara asked, shocked.

"Really what is that song?" Aang asked again.

"Only the best song in the world." Katara said

Aang had an eyebrow raised.

"My dad told me beforeI was a cry baby so he and my mom would sing that song to me to calm me down." Katara explained.

"Ohh." Aang replied.

There was silence again.

"How about you?" Katara asked

"What about me?" Aang asked.

"Tell me something about yourself." Katara said.

"Well I don't know what to tell you." Aang responded.

"How about why are you here in the fire nation?" Katara asked.

Aang seemed a little agitated  when she asked the question and answered "just a little...... get away."

"To get away from what?" Katara asked.

"You know....... Life." Aang responded.

Katara just nodded.
