Katara got off the bus and saw how beautiful and orange the sun was reflecting on the ocean. Then she looked around trying to find Aang but didn't see him anywhere.
Maybe he's just late. Katara thought.
Katara walked towards the beach and saw a bench and decided to sit there until Aang arrived. When she walked towards it she saw a laying figure on the bench. She walked closer and closer then saw who it was.
"Aang?" Katara said.
Katara chuckled remembering how Aang used to sleep on the bench in the fire nation.
Aang woke up from the sound of Katara's voice.
Aang looked up to see katara chuckling at him.
"Oh Katara! You're here." Aang said sitting up and making space for Katara to sit.
"Sorry, how long have you been here?" Katara asked.
"From the looks of the sun, not too long." Aang responded.
"Okay." Katara said and sat down beside Aang.
"So what are you going to talk about?" Katara asked.
"I asked you to meet me because.....I'm here to tell the truth." Aang said.
Katara was slightly confused because she had thought that Aang already told his truth.
Katara nodded, signaling Aang to continue.
"First and foremost. I am truly sorry for lying to you and especially leaving you without notice or explanation and sorry that it took me this long to say sorry. You probably have mixed feelings about me and this and I really understand if you don't forgive me but please listen to me before you respond to anything." Aang said.
