Chapter 21: Karaoke

sorry for late post, I low key forgot.

It's been two weeks since the grand opening and it's currently 5:30 am and Katara is finishing up her presentation that she's been working on for the past week with the head chef of flameo bakery.

Katara was finishing up when Suki barged in saying.

"WAKE UP K- oh you're already awake."

"Yeah I woke up at five am to finish my presentation." Katara said not even raising her head to look at Suki.

"Oh okay so what do you want for breakfast?" Suki asked.

"You know I hope Aang will approve this cause I think this will bring us to the international market." Katara said, completely ignoring Suki's question.

"Okay well hope things do work out for you but again what do you want for breakfast?" Suki asked again

"Oh um, just egg and rice." Katara said

"What kind of egg?" Suki asked

"Uh sunny side up." Katara replied.

"Okay, come out in 3 minutes." Suki said while closing the door.

Katara just nodded and continued working.

Three minutes past and Suki knocked on Katara's door and said

"Your food is ready Katara."

"Okay I'll come out soon." Katara said.

10 minutes passed and Katara finally finished her presentation.

"AHHH finally I'm done." Katara said, stretching on her seat.

Then katara check the time and saw it was just 5:40 am.

Okay I need to be at work at 7:30 and it's just 5:40 so eating will probably just be 5 minutes. I want to take a shower for like 15 minutes plus dressing up is around 5 minutes and then. Commuting would probably take 30-40 minutes to get there and it would be around 6:55 am so I would be 35 minutes early so I could probably take a nap for about 10 minutes before going. I would be 20 minutes early which is probably enough time to get ready for the presentation. But then knowing my history with taking a nap I think I'll just be 35 minutes early and just take a nap there so at least I'm already at work. Katara thought as she got up from her chair and to the dining table.

She did exactly what she had thought of but there was less traffic than she thought so now she's 40 minutes earlier. Katara went to the meeting room and set up everything then sat down to rest and put down her head to take a nap.

~30 minutes later~

Aang arrived 10 minutes early and as he was walking to his office he saw Katara sleeping in the meeting room and saw that she had already prepared everything for the meeting. Aang walked in the meeting room and smiled looking at her peacefully sleeping.

She's really early for her. She must have come here early in the morning. She must be tired. I should probably leave her to sleep...

Aang saw that Katara was cold from the air con then he looked around and saw that no one was watching so he took off his blazer and put it on her and left.

5 minutes later head chef Mr. Byun Jihoon woke up Katara for the presentation.

"Katara wake up! Katara wake up, the presentation is in five minutes." Jihoon said.

Katara lift of her head and opened her eyes to see Jihoon slightly panicking.

"I'm up. I'm up." Katara sat up and felt something fall off her shoulders. She looked behind her and saw a blazer. She was confused and wondered who owned it and why it was on her.
