Summer vacation has come to an end.

It's the first day of a new term. "God I'm so excited"

I get woken up by my phone vibrating and the worst possible alarm sound you could imagine.

"6:30 am". "I can't do this".

As the sunlight shone through the thin curtains, you laid there for a while, contemplating if it was worth it waking up at this time.  Your body's biorhythm was so used to sleeping in longer that you had to use all your mental strength to get out of your bed.

You followed your normal morning routine by visiting the bathroom and getting dressed up.

"I really didn't miss you, you know that?", you said to your uniform which you were holding up in front of you. You were wasting time as usual, but that didn't bother you, as always you took way too long to get ready. You noticed that it was only half an hour left until morning assembly, and you still had to have breakfast and walk to school.
You brushed your long black hair at ease, while you were staring emptily at yourself in the mirror in front of you.

"They'll have to wait I guess". "The world revolves around me anyways".

"doesn't it?"

Yes, that sounded way to self-centered, but that's just how things work inside your head. That's also not the version of yourself you display to your friends. They'd describe you as their loving friend, who would actually catch a bullet for them, whom they love hanging out with so much, who's the funniest around, and the most caring of all.

But in reality – You didn't care about them that much at all. You created this fake persona of yourself, mainly because of the one reason:
You were bored.
Above it all, the interactions with these so called friends of yours, really entertained you, as you've already figured out how these people work, and how you could manipulate them. Sometimes this all makes you think you're a sociopath, and that could truly be. You were so convinced you could never actually fall for someone, because you just saw people as puppets. But that really all changed,

When you met him.

-

You left the house with a full stomach due to the delicious breakfast your mom prepared. It's only a 7 minute walk from your home to school, and you really enjoyed this part of the day. You were walking along the streets as you admired the trees, whose leaves are slowly turning colors already. The mild warm September breeze made you feel somewhat happy, in that emotion-lacking brain of yours. After walking for a bit, you reached your school and entered the big gate. You could see your friends in the distance, talking and laughing at the front of the building, probably waiting for you.

"There you are!", a girl with a similar haircut to yours said, as they all hugged you tightly.

"We just hung out yesterday? Why are you acting like we haven't seen eachother in forever?" you answered smiling.

"Oh c'mon Y/N-chan ! you know how much we love you!", she exclaimed.

"I think we should get upstairs, class is about to start", One of your other friends said.

"this day is going to be tiresome"
