Calikit bounced around. "I'm going to be an apprentice! I'm going to be an apprentice!" Foxtrot gave a tired sigh. " Not if you are looking like that, your not!" Calikit stopped. "But you washed us three times over! You sound like Hearttuft when Shallowpaw and Oceanpaw became apprentices!" Stormkti wriggled under Foxtrots' nervous tongue! " I am fine! I have NEVER been as clean!" He exclaimed. Tawnystar's call rang throughout the clearing. Stormkit wriggled and raced outside. Calikit did as well. They watched as the Clan gathered. Calikit felt nervousness growing in her belly. What if I mess up? The whole Caln will laugh at me! " Today, Calikit and Stormkit have reached their 6th moon, and are ready to become appretices. Please step forward." Calikit stepped forward, trying hard not to stumble. " From this day forward, you will be know as Stormpaw and-" Calikit thoght about her life as a kit. She lost a sister, and enemies, and had no true father. But she had fun, made one of those enemies into a friend, and had a wonderful mother. Her Story so far had been filled with sorrow, happy, calm, and mad. But she was leaving it behind, turning to the next chapter of her life, with a head high and a full heart. Look out, apprenticeship! She thought proudly. I'm coming after you! Calikit lifted her head as the Clan stared at her. She knew they were wondering if she was ready. She knew, in her heart, she was. "-Calipaw."
