Chapter 13

~Zoey's P.O.V~

I kept gawking at the electronic in my hands. I barely caught the sound of leaves being stepped on behind me while in deep thought. I spun around and put the phone behind my back. I sighed in relief at who it was.

It was just Levi.

Just Levi?! He is Humanity's strongest soldier!! and you're superior! Only Levi? Really Zoey....baka.

His gaze went from my eyes to my arms that were behind my back."What do you have" He asked, his almost bored tone sending chills down my spine."N-nothing!" I spoke quickly and quietly."He sighed in annoyance while pinching the bridge of his nose."Just give the damn thing to me" He demanded, taking a step towards me.

He continued taking steps toward me as I took steps back.

He stepped forward.

I stepped back.

He stepped forward.

I ste- Oof!

I silently cried in pain as my arms and back slammed into the trunk of a tree, causing me to almost drop the phone.I can't lose this easily! C'mon Zoey! Fight for the phone! I tried to prepare myself for what was about to happen, but in my opinion, what's about to happen, is impossible to prepare for.

He swiftly made his was towards me and placed his hands on either side of my head. My heart and mind were racing with nerves and anxiety. I clutched onto my phone for dear life as he leaned his head towards mine.

I closed my eyes and shivered with fear.What is he doing? Why does he want my phone? They have never even seen one! Wait... that might be why- My thoughts got cut off by something soft come in contact with my lips.

My eyes snapped open in shock and my heart stopped at the situation. 

There, in front of me, was Levi. I inwardly gasped,but quickly kissed back. Levi Heichou is kissing me! What do I do? I don't want him to laugh at me! Why is he kissing me? Why-

My thoughts were once again interupted by hands grasping mine, and more importantly, my phone. I pulled away from Levi and gasped. He dangled my phone in front of me and smirked.

I felt my face grow in anger,I just wanted it back! I will get it back!
An idea popped into my head, and I decided to try it. I mean, it wouldn't hurt to try, would it?

I looked into Levi's charcoal, grey eyes with my emerald ones. He just gives me another smirk before turning on his heel and walking away from me.It's now or never Zoey! Do it now! I bundled up all my courage and ran after him.

"I wish you would give my phone back!!!"
