Chapter 17

~Zoey's P.O.V~

I woke up feeling refreshed. Today was the day. They day I take the 3DMG test. The day that I will officially be a cheater. It's not that I want to cheat, no I don't, I just really want everyone to think highly of me, to look up to me. I sighed and swung my legs over the side of the bed and got ready for the day, by taking a quick shower, putting on my uniform, putting my phone in my back pocket, brushing my hair, and brushing my teeth. I walked down to the Mess Hall and silently slipped in and grabbed a tray, filling it with food.

Is it even right to call it food? This stuff is absolutely nasty. Just the thought of eating this stuff made me want to vomit. I held back the vomit, and looked for a table to sit at. A tap on my shoulder brought me out of my thoughts, there stood Armin, with a smile on his face. I smiled back and he spoke."Would you like to sit at my table? You kind look lost.."

"Oh yes please!" I grinned. Armin really was as sweet as he was in the manga and anime. He laughed and led me to a table near the middle. He sat down and I stood there awkwardly as I remembered where everyone sat. Armin sat across from Eren, Mikasa beside Eren, Jean diagonal from Eren, Marco beside Jean.... Marco. I felt tears well up in my eyes with the thought of Marco. He doesn't know it, but his life if quickly ticking away. I choked make the tears and sat beside Armin. He looked at me, and I shook my head with a smile.

He asked if I was okay, but I just ignored it. Soon, Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Marco, Sasha, Connie, Ymir, and Chr- Historia were all seated. They all started conversing between each other, adding me where they could, but then they all went quiet. I looked at them questionably, but saw that they were all looking behind me."Ahem... you are in my spot" Came a voice from behind me. I bit back a sassy 'You weren't here, get another seat' and just turned around. Now in front of me, was Reiner, Bertholt, and Annie. As I turned around, I saw him freeze, and his eyes widen.

"O-oh hey there, Come here often?" He snapped out of his little trance, and a smirk made it's way upon his face."No, in fact, I have only been here for about a week" I reply with a smile. I saw him slightly blush, and look away. I rolled my eyes, and turned around to eat the remainder of my food. I heard the sound of boots hitting the ground and I assumed that they left to find a different table.I  finished surprisingly fast, and I ate all of it. I was surprised that Sasha didn't even try to take anything from me. I looked up and saw everyone staring at me with disbelief. I blushed slightly from all the stares, and stuttered out a "w-what?"

Eren was the first to speak."Nobody, I mean nobody has ever been able to make Reiner stutter and blush" He exclaimed with wide eyes. Trying to get off the topic of Reiner, I tried to change the subject."So, the weather, huh?" Everyone looked at me, then all burst out laughing.(Except Mikasa, who only hid her slight smile underneath her scarf)
