*Biana*

I have a Renaissance history exam tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. So much so that I scarcely studied which means I need to cram which means I need coffee.

I should go to ExPresso shots!

I look it up on Google maps and begin walking directions.

I walk into ExPresso shots a few minutes later. Sophie sees me and drops the cup she is holding out of surprise. At least it's iced tea and not hot tea.

"Sophie," I run over and give her a tight hug.

"Biana," she beams, "it's so good to see you."

I help Sophie clean up the spill because it's my fault she dropped it.

We catch up for a quick couple of minutes. She tells me she and Keefe are dating now, and I tell her, "finally," and "I'm really happy for you."

"Speaking of Keefe, where is he?"

"Right here," I spin around and see him.

"Keefe! Hi!" I greet him warmly.

"Hey Biana," he says, "it's good to see you. How's Fitzy?"

"He's good. I'm sure he loved to see you."

I give him Fitz's number and tell him they should be in touch, then I find an empty table by the window and sit down. I pull out my laptop, textbook, and charger.

"You came," I turn my head to find Tam.

"I did." I smile at him.

He points to the tray he's holding and says, "I'm going to give these people their order then I'll come back and take yours."

I nod. "Thanks."

A boy with dark blonde hair appears a moment later and leans on the table, "can I take your order?"

"Thank you but Tam said he will."

"Why wait for him when I can help you now?"

"I'm here now," Tam growls, "now leave her alone."

The other boy looks frightened and takes leave.

*Tam*

"How have you been?" I ask as I take a seat across from Biana.

"Fine," she tells me, "unfortunately I have this massive test I have to study for."

"Oh," I get up.

"Sorry I didn't mean it like that. Please stay," her cheeks twinge pink, "I mean if you want to."

I sit back down.

I see Melissa heading over and I clench my teeth.

"Aren't you working now?" She asks me.

"Yes."

"So why are sitting with her?" Melissa points to Biana.

"Because I want to."

Her eyes darken. "I see how it is."

"Who was that?" Biana asks and it almost sounds like jealousy lacing her words. I must be imagining it.

"Just this annoying customer," I sigh, "unfortunately she is right though. We'll have to catch up another time. What can I get you?"

"I'll take a bran muffin and two strong coffees please with skim milk."

I raise my dark eyebrow.

"I have to cram," she informs me, pointing at her textbook.

I peer over her shoulder and see the textbook cover, "looks boring I'll wish you good luck."

Then I head over to the espresso machine to make Biana some coffee.
