It's not fair that Keefe got to see Sophie, but I haven't seen or heard from Biana in over a month.
I sigh yet again, and I guess I do so loudly.
Because Keefe says to me, "hey man you'll see her again."
I turn to him in confusion. He's an empath, not a telepath.
"I know your thinking about Biana." I open my mouth to say something, but he cuts me off, "and don't try to deny it."
Keefe and I hated each other for a while but after I was captured by the Neverseen things slowly changed, though I wouldn't say we are friends.
The door opens and my sister Linh walks in, she walks closer, and I notice that she has a purple splatter of paint on her shirt.
"Hey Linh," I greet my twin happily, "you just missed Sophie."
"Really?!" She pouts.
I nod. "But I'm sure she'll be back soon." I point towards Keefe and she smiles because she knows exactly what I mean.
My sister is an artist now and works in her room in our small shabby apartment. She enjoys painting scenery, sometimes scenes from the past and sometimes from the present, but no matter what it is it she always incorporates water into it. It's her signature style.
And I guess her way of saying she will always be a hydrokinetic, even if she can't be openly.

It's been challenging trying to get accustomed to college's rigorous schedule.
At least the college I'm in isn't so difficult which is why I got in. They take almost anyone so long as you show potential, which I honestly appreciate.
I put my side bag in the front closet of our modest but well-decorated home.
I have a no schoolwork until after dinner rule. We all need a break every now and then.
As I walk into the living room, I hear Fitz snap his laptop shut.
"Another sale," he says satisfied
"Well hello to you too," I say with feigned annoyance.
"Sorry, hey Biana," he smiles, "hope you had a good day."
He takes his headphone with an attached mouthpiece off and places it on top of his laptop carefully.
Fitz works for cutco as a salesman. He sells kitchen appliances to all kinds of people and he seems to enjoy it.
It certainly gives him a sense of pride if you ask me.
He possesses the charm, charisma, and dedication they were looking for.
He's really good at what he does and I'm happy he found his niche.
