My charm finally paid off. Not everyone is keen enough to appreciate The Keefester, but finally I found someone who does. And it's got me a manager position at ExPresso shots.

He keeps them satisfied for the most part, which makes my job a lot easier. I get to sit in the back and relax for the most part, which of course I certainly do. I bought a very comfortable seat with my first paycheck and a month's supply of toothpicks.
But getting any job without at least some experience is hard so I guess we're lucky to be employed.
That's what my Dad keeps reminding me anyway. He was minorly impressed when he learned I got a promotion so swiftly, but nothing I do keeps him content for long.

I open up a browser page and search for job openings in San Diego. Right off the bat, I see I'm unqualified for most jobs. Unfortunately.
However, one thing catches my attention. Dog walking. I shudder. I remember when I met Gethen for the first time when he tried to get me to go to his sister's house with him. I'm lucky Mr. Forkle saved me.
I fill out a basic application and send it in.
Now I wait.
