SHORT CHAPTER ALERT 🚨
Hero POV:
New York.
Being here right now feels odd but good. Having my little boy in my arms with wide eyes as he looks around at the tall buildings makes me smile in admiration. A warm arm wrapping around my waist jars me out of my being distracted by the look in my sons eyes.
The past few weeks were spent in Australia saying goodbye to everyone and having beach sex. That was truly great, I can tell we were both trying to soak up the last moments of living there.
I look down at Jo next to me, "our parents are here." She whispers. I give a silent nod and lean down slowly to peck Jo on her full pink lips. Feeling a weight on my shoulder makes he look over to see my son resting his head there with his eyes closed, sleeping.
I release a deep breath, thankful for him falling asleep. He was so hyperactive the whole time, constantly asking questions about the airplane and sky and where we were going. When I told him New York, he got so excited, he had told me about how Jo would tell him stories about living there. That made me so happy that she talked about the place we grew up to him.
Turning around, I instantly spot both me and Jo's parents plus Kat and Felix, all with big smiles on their faces....
Josephine POV:
Me and Kat make eye contact and she immediately runs at me and throws her arms around me, "you bitch!" She exclaims and squeezes me tight.
"Can't.. breathe.." I rasp out, she then unwraps her arms from around me then pushes me back and holds me by my shoulders.
"You, missy, have a lot of explaining to do..." she trails off as she hears a nearby small yawn. Looking over she spots a sleeping Henry in Hero's arms. "Bite sized Hero?" She whispers to herself confused. "Josephine Langford, why does Hero have a mini version of himself?!" Kat exclaims quite loudly.
"Shhh," I grip her shoulder tightly, "you're gonna wake him up!" I whisper harshly. The reason why the airport it's self hasn't woken him up is because it's practically empty.. deserted, except for us all. "But to answer your question, that's our son."
I guess I said that a bit too loud cause all at once everyone looks over to us, basically no one but my grandparents and Australian friends new we had a kid. "Y-your s-son?" Hero's mother stutters.
"Yeah," me and Hero answer simultaneously and look at each other nervously.
"How old is he?" My mother's asks with teary eyes.
"Um, he turns three next week." Hero tells them. My mother, Hero's mother and Kat all exit the building with tears in their eyes, while all the guys just stand their looking confused.
A few moments pass by, "uh.. congratulations?" Felix mutters then runs the back of his neck and the dads just nod in agreement at his statement formed like a question.
"Hand me, Henry." I tell Hero and he gives me him.
Once he is secured in my arms I walk out side where I immediately hear crying, "we are grandmas and didn't even know!" My mother exclaims.
"And I'm a aunt!" Kats voice chimes in.
When I turn my head to the left, I spot them all talking animatedly with hands flying up in the air.
"Guys," I get their attention. All their eyes look to me and when they see my son in my arms their eyes widen and they take slow steps towards me.
"He's so precious," my mother whispers.
"And adorable," Hero's mom adds.
"And the perfect mix of you guys." Kat says.
It seems as if a switch has gone off in all of them and now they are in their nurturing mode. From all of what they say, Henry starts to wake up. "Mama?" He whispers as he rubs his tiny fist on his eyes, then opens them. The women gasp at the sight of his different colored eyes.
"Yes, honey?" I reply.
"We stwill at whe aiwport?" he mumbles.
"Yes, you were only asleep for a few minutes, baby." I tell him.
"Oh," he yawns and the girls 'Aw' at him. "Who are they?" He asks as he points at the women.
"That's Mimi ," I point to Martha, Hero's mom, "and that's Nana," I point to my mom. "Then that's auntie Kat." I lastly point at Kathrine.
"Oh, hi," he shyly waves at them and they all swoon at his cuteness. He then looks back to me, "when we gon be howme?" He asks.
"Soon. Very soon."

Y'all this the shortest chapter I've written, only bout 760 words or so. I'm truly sorry but I just don't got the motivation to try and write this further. And guess who is going back to physical school for the first time today, it's me!
