Hero POV:

Waking up with Jo in my arms after so many sleepless nights without her has proven to be one of the best sensations I've ever experienced. The feeling of her soft breaths fanning over my naked chest has created familiar delicious butterflies in my stomach and makes me grip onto her tighter, wanting to experience more. The heat that her body produces against mine has me dazed and feeling as if I am on cloud 9. And I never want to come down.

I spend the next hour watching as delicate golden light streams in through the shear white curtains and highlight my loves angelic ness. He blonde hair that has lightened significantly in the last 2 years due to the constant sun exposure, starts to glow and the pieces that frame her face seem to shimmer. The long shimmering strands of her hair contrasts beautifully to her tanned skin, over time I had grown used to her pale complexion that seemed to never get any light, but now you can notice her long days spent at the hot beach having fun and getting tanned. I wish I was there to be able to see this transition happen.

Jo starts to stir and snuggles deeper into me, than pauses seeming to realize I wasn't a pillow. Ever so slowly, her harmonious blue-grey eyes flutter open, first they scan the room then land on me. She seems stunned, "wait, so this wasn't a dream?" I chuckle at her cuteness.

"No, love, it wasn't." I reach up and run the pad of my thumb over her cheek bone then I drag it down to her bottom lip, she adjusts her head so that her chin is now settled on my chest.

"Thank goodness," she mutters to herself. Steadily her hand reaches up and rubs her hand from my abdomen up to my chest and back down, she does it a few more times after. Our eyes stay connected as our faces inch closer and closer together, when our lips touch subtlety, my eyes flutter closed as does hers. Fire spreads from my mouth throughout my body and instantly my hands fly to her hips to pull her impossibly closer to me to try and get more of her. Our lower halves start to steadily rub against each other and the warm room seems to heat up.

Just when things start to go further, such as me taking off her shirt revealing her bare bust, a loud banging that sounds like a wooden spoon hitting pots startles me into falling off the side of the bed with a loud 'thud'. As I'm on the floor I hear the door on the other side of the room open up. "Grammie get out of here!" Jo screeches, I imagine her fumbling quickly to put on her shirt with one hand while the other hides her breasts.

"Oh hush, that ain't nothin I haven't seen before. You know, I used to change you when you were a baby." Her grandmother huffs with a thick Australian accent.

"I'm 23 now!" This whole time I've just stayed on the floor withering in the pain radiating from my back.

"Don't you use that tone with me," a small snack is heard as it echoes through the small room.

"Ow, stop hitting me with that spoon." Jo groans.

"Then don't raise your voice, anyways, where's that boy your papa told me about?" Her voice gets excited.

"Right here," I mumble as I stand up from the floor. In the blink of an eye small arms are wrapped around me, hugging the daylights out.

"Oh my goodness, he is such a cutie!" She exclaims once she lets me go. Suddenly my face is in her hands, she inspects me.

"Thank you," I tell her.

"Oh! And you have such a nice accent as well!" She gushes making me blush. I see Jo come up from behind her and lightly grip her grandmothers shoulders.

"Okay, grams, I think that's enough. Me and Hero will be out shortly for breakfast." She tells her grandma as she directs her out of the room.

When she comes back over to me she says, "well, I'm gonna go take a shower. I'll be back in 10," she pecks my lips then skips off to what I'm guessing is the bathroom.

With her being gone, I really start to get a good look around her room. Her bed is dressed in plain white bedsheets and a comforter just like her bed back in New York, another similarity is that her bedroom is nicely lit with windows as well, except here she doesn't have full walls as windows. I get up and move around the bedroom, lightly running the tips of my fingers over her different nicknacks, photos and things. Her room holds so many memories, memories that I didn't get to experience with her. But something I'm really am curious about is here closet, I don't know why but I feel like I need to look in there.

Slowly, I take steps towards it, my hand grips the sliding door about to pull it open, until Jo walks in wrapped in a navy blue towel. She sees where I am and hastily gets in between me and the door.

"Don't look in there," she impatiently snaps. Leaving no room for argument, it seems as if she's hiding something.

I look from her eyes to the door than back to her, "what are you trying to hide, Josephine?" I tilt my head in question.

"N-nothing," she stammers nervously. Then shifts uncomfortably from foot to foot. I lean in close and put my hand up against the door right next to her head.

"Well, I think you are, and I intent to find out. But not now, I don't want to risk ruining this good day." I back off of her and walk over to the bed and flop down. "So, what's the schedule for today?" I ask her as she rummages to find clothes.

"Um, well," she drops her towel to reveal her fully naked body, "there's really nothing planned for today except I have to go to work tonight as usual." She explains as she puts her undergarments on. I sit in awe watching her as she puts on a red lacy bra with matching panties. Somehow she seems to not notice my intense stare, that or she's just ignoring it.

"Okay."

Soon we are both dressed, "uh, do you think you can wait for me in the kitchen? There's something I need to do before I go." Jo asks me suspiciously.

"Yeah," I reply unsurely.

Jo is definitely hiding something from me, I intend to find out what it is.
