"Mama!" Hero's mini-me runs at me full speed once I enter my parents house. I open my arms wide, catching him as he jumps into them. "I mwissed you!" He exclaims tiredly but enthusiastically at the same time.
Squeezing him hard I mumble, "I missed you too, love bug." I stand there for a few moments, just holding on tight to my son, trying to soak up as much of this as possible. He hugs me back, equally as hard, since getting him back he has seemed to grow into being such a mommas boy and I love it.
It seems as if time is moving too fast and Henry is getting bigger every day, I feel like I could cry just thinking about when he's not gonna be my little baby anymore. One day I'll be tying his tie for school photos, then homecoming, soon after prom, then graduation and finally his wedding.
And now is when I do start crying, Henry is quickly taken into Hero's arms as he looks at me concerned. "What's wrong, love? Are you in pain? Where does it hurt? I knew I should've put you on bed rest, stupid stupid s-"
"Shut up, Hero!" I throw my arms up then stomp to my childhood bedroom, where I then make a point to slam the door closed. I would flop onto the bed dramatically, but I don't want to hurt the baby, so instead I just settle for laying down softly.
With furrowed, irritated brows, I stare at the wall, hoping that it sets on fire. I know Hero just wants me and the baby to be safe, but he is already breathing down my neck like if I were to step too far left I'd break a bone. Like if he doesn't watch me eat and drink then I'd choke.
But I do also know that the pregnancy hormones are kicking in....
"Darling?" I hear the man of the hour whisper at the same time Henry whispers, "mama," turning over slightly I see both him and Henry popping there heads through the now crack in my door.
I simply just open my arms and like twins they both come running into them. Giggling I hold onto them.
"Awre you uwpset, mama?" Henry cutely asks me as he rests his chin in his palm.
"No, baby," I run my fingers through his hair, "mama was just being a bit dramatic and needs to apologize to daddy." I softly tell him, and I see Hero grin out of the corner of my eye.
"But-but daddy says the girl should never apologize to the boy, 'she's always right even when she's wrong' is exwactly what he said," Henry informs me, proud of remembering what his devious father said.
"Is that right?..." my voice is low and slowly Hero starts to get off the bed. Henry nods his head vigorously. "Go watch some cartoons, my sweet boy, I'll be down in a few to snuggle and watch them with you." I smile at him.
"Alwight! Jus don't take too long, mama, I mwissed you lots." He takes my face in his small hands and tells me seriously.
"Five minutes tops!" I grin at him while holding up one of my hands, indicating five minutes.
Henry nods then gives me a kiss on the nose before skipping out of the room singing the theme song for Sponge Bob.
"You bastard!" My eyes narrow at Hero and he quickly backs up into a corner with his hands up.
.
.
.
."Look look! He has a spatula for a hand, mommy!" Henry gets onto his knees as he holds onto my shoulder with one hand and points towards the tv with the other.
I hold onto his side and gasp dramatically, "oh no! He's so scary!" I mock fear.
Henry quickly looks back at me, "don't be scared, mama, it's not real. It's just a cartoon, he won't hurt you." He seems to be concerned.
"If it was, would you protect me? Cause your daddy surely couldn't," I whisper the last part loudly so that Hero can hear me.
I see him narrow his eyes at me, as he still subtly rubs his man parts to sooth it after me punishing him for giving our son such absurd ideas. He's also on time out, being forced to sit on the other sofa in our new home.
It's been at least a half an hour since knocking him in his man bits but he claims that the ache is still there.
"Of course I'd protect you!" Henry jolts me from my thoughts. "And I'll always protect my sister," he mumbles and runs my tummy, and yes I told Henry about me being pregnant before I told Hero.
"How do you know it's a girl?" Hero asks before I can.
"I just know," my little boy simply answers. "Though I'd like it if you can have me some brothers first, so that we can play rough but also so that my sister can have more people to protect her... ewspecally fwrom boys." His brows furrow. His mispronunciation of 'especially' making me lightly chuckle.
It baffles me how my son is so smart, already knowing a lot about everything.
I sigh, "I'll try to make it a boy, can't promise though, alright?"
He groans, "otay..."
Swiftly Hero stands up from his lone sofa and walks over to us, plopping himself right besides me. He leans in close to my ear, "if not this one, I can always fuck you until we get more boys," he whispers so that Henry won't hear. I'm not worried, he's already up and intently watching his cartoon again.
"Yeah, like I'm gonna let you tap this again," I whisper back fiercely.
His eyes widen but then go into slits, he gets his 'seductive' face on, "are you saying that you aren't gonna let me plunge my big dick-"
"What dick?" I snort quietly, "mines bigger than yours and it's nonexistent." I giggle at my own joke.
"B-babe? When did you become so good at comebacks?" He asks like a fish out of water.
"I've always had good comebacks, I'm just reminding you of them." I smirk.
"Wanna remind me of other things-"
DING DONG!
The doorbell rings. Henry gets up from his spot in front of the tv and bounces excitedly to see who's at the door.
Confused me and Hero walk to the front door, when we open it we are both taken aback. There stands, Kathrine being held back by Felix as she tries to jump at my ex boyfriend Jack... while my friends from Australia stand to the side looking amused. Danny being the one who rung the doorbell. (A/n: see character list to remind yourself of who is who)
"What the fuck?!" Hero yells, everyone stops and looks over at us, wide eyed.
