Josephine POV:
Stepping into the apartment. My old apartment, I find that it is already warm in here, it's comforting. But how? I put my hand over to reach the light switch and flip it so that my beloved apartment is now illuminated.
Taking a deep intake of breath, my eyes grow wide. Everything is the same. And I mean everything.
A indescribable happiness over takes me as my eyes rake over the layout of it. Everything is so much the same that even the cup that I left of the coffee table when I left is still there.
How strange, I chuckle in my mind. Maybe a bit creepy as well?
I am quick to turn around to see Hero who has flushed cheeks of embarrassment. Not realizing that I have been just staring at him, a small hand waving in front of my face snaps me out of it.
"Mommy, you're starin at daddy," Henry informs me as he sits in Hero's arms comfortably.
"Oh am I now?" I ask and he nods with a cute pout on his lips. "Hmm, actually I think I'm tickling you."
"What?-" he is cut off by me attacking his little belly with my finger tips. His giggles fill the apartment as well as his tiny shrieks. Hero sets his boy on the floor and within minutes the two are play wrestling like two brothers would.
That's sort of how their relationship is, most of the time it's a older brother-younger brother dynamic with Hero becoming stern and assertive when needed. "Mama! Mama! Look I pinned him!" I'm taken out of my thoughts.
I look down to see Henry straddling Hero's chest with him also pinning down Hero's arms. For a second I honestly think, 'why does it look like Hero is struggling and actually pinned while out of breath?'
"Alright, buddy, we get it, you're a super baby." Hero breathlessly chuckles.
"I am not a baby!" Henry exclaims back.
"Yes you are."
"No."
"Yes."
"Nope."
"Yeah.
"Nuh-uh."
"Yeah-hu!"
"Both of you quit it, you lot are making me feel like I am both of your mothers," I stop their arguing. But can't help but laugh when I notice that Henry is still pinning Hero down.
I pick him up and right away Hero springs to his feet and dusts himself off, "stupid super baby strength." He mutters to himself.
"Stupid daddy who isn't strong." Henry retorts and crosses his arms.
Are about to start arguing again but I quickly step in before they can, "Hen, how about you go explore the place a bit while I talk to daddy?" I suggest.
"Alrighty," I nods his head before jumping from my arms and skipping around.
Turning around I face Hero and sigh then wrap my arms around his waist lazily. "I need a nap," I tell him as I press my forehead to his chest.
"Tell me about it, all that wrestling with the gremlin tired me out," he chuckles and tightly wraps his arms around my shoulders and places his chin on the top of my head.
As if on cue Henry tugs at one of the legs of my sweat pants, "yes, baby?"
"I'm tired, ma." I tells me with droopy eyes. I pick him up in my arms and he latched onto me tightly.
"Okay, family nap time." I lead what seems like my little pack of wolves to the bedroom that I haven't seen in years. And just like the rest of the house, it looks the same, even smells the same. But not focusing on it too much since being to sleepy, I hop into the bed and place my little boy in the middle of it while Hero gets in on the other side.
Within what seems like seconds, we are all passed out with the view of the sunset, guess this isn't a nap but a good nights sleep.

"Shhh, don't wake her up." Hero's voice registers in my mind first when I start to wake up, but as does some pain in my uterus.Shark week. Is immediately what I think.
"I'm not gonna wake her up, you are." Henry's matter-of-fact voice then says.
And their bickering then starts.
I groan loudly, "uuggghhhh, let me sleep."
"Oh no." Henry whispers.
"What?" Hero's worried voice replies.
"That's her monster voice." The innocent boy says.
"Oh no, I know exactly what you mean. Come here, we gotta go." Hero's frantic voice alarms.
"Why?"
"We gotta go load up on snacks and pain meds."
During their talk, I peel a eye open and see Hero quickly throwing the small boy over his shoulder and dashing out of the room like he is on fire.
Back to sleep it is.

"Mama, hey mama." The feeling of a small hand on my shoulder shaking lightly wakes me from my sleep."Yeah, baby?" I say through the intense pain in my lower back and uterus.
"Me and daddy got food, and here I brought some meds and your favorite juice." I slowly open my eyes and sit up to see that the moon is up and my son is standing next to the bed with two Midols in his palm a glass of cranberry juice in his other.
I take them from him with a smile, "thank you, Hen." I kiss the top of his head.
"Of course, mommy, anythin for you." He smiles and kisses my cheek.
I look to the alarm clock next to the bed and see that it is eight pm. Climbing out of bed, I pick Henry up and walk out to the living room where I then gasp loudly. Fairy lights are hung up everywhere and then spot Hero putting some pillows into what looks like a blanket fort.
"Oh my goodness," I breath out in Aw. His head snaps up and he smiles brightly at me before getting up and wrapping his arms around us.
"Have a good sleep?" He murmurs the question into my hair.
"Amazing," I answer, "and this is even better." I then tell him.
"You've given me everything, this is the least I can do while you're stuck going through pain." His voice is filled with nothing but love and it makes me tear up.
"Oh look what you did! You made her cry!" Henry angrily whispers to Hero.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"
"No no, guys, these are happy tears," I giggle.
Both Henry and Hero's hands come up to my cheeks to wipe them away, "well don't cry at all mommy, me and daddy don't like to see you cry." I mutters to me.
"Yeah, seeing you cry makes us wanna cry." Hero adds.
I really do have the best guys possible in my life.
