Chapter 2: Adopt A Kid Together

You have been sent to serve Miss Shu Xian. Despite Shi Lian not being able to work with you, she's still close enough with you that you can visit one another quite frequently.

Cai Li has also been sent to Miss Shu Xian. She bawled and apologized profusely that day, making the Stewardess forgive her.

You two have a serious feud now, and you know she won't give up. Still, she's not even worth your worry.

Xiu Ying: (Nothing else matters besides vengeance, Right now the heartless one hasn't met me nor become the emperor yet. There's still a chance. Unfortunately he's still the Crown Prince. It would be difficult for me to get in contact with him under my current status...)

You remember Fu Heng just now. I might be able to learn more about the Crown Prince through Fu Heng!

You decide to go to the Garrison Station. Fu Heng gets excited when he sees you!

Fu Heng: Just the person I was looking for. I need your help...do you know how to make toys like these?

You take a look at the schematics and figure out these are toys you played with as a child. Why does he want to make toys? Ask him?

Xiu Ying: Oh these. I used to play with them when I was a kid and built them myself.

Fu Heng: [Surprised] That's fantastic. May I ask you to help me build them?

Xiu Ying: No problem! But I'm curious. Why do you want to make toys?

Fu Heng: I'll let you know when it's done.

Fu Heng doesnt want to tell you yet. It makes you even more curious.

You bring the schematics out of the Garrison Station, and see Cai Li looking at you. Did Cai Li follow you?

Cai Li: What's with that look? I'm just passing by!

You prepare all the material for the toys and begin working so you can get it to Fu Heng as fast as possible.

Xiu Ying: That doesn't look easy! It's been so long since I made these, I almost forgot how to to it. Still, success...

The door opens suddenly as you are feeling good about your work. You gawk at the person who barged in.

Cai Li: Matron, I saw with my own eyes that Xiu Ying keeps going to the Garrison Station. Now she's making some kind of romantic gift!

Xiu Ying: You really don't learn, do you? Making up stories again?

Cai Li: [Points to your table] The proof is right there, what excuse do you have?

Turns out it's the toys you have been working on that became Cai Li's proof. How should you respond?

Cai Li rushes over and grabs the toys since you didn't react.

Cai Li: Look at these!

Xiu Ying: You should take a better look.

Matron: These are just children's toys! Who'd make these as romantic gifts?

Cai Li's dumbfounded at the fact that everything you've been working on is just a few toys.

Xiu Ying: I only work on them when I'm done with my Palace Duties. I don't think that's against the rules?

Cai Li: But I saw you going in and out the Garrison Station! How do you explain that?

As you are about to speak, footsteps close in and Fu Heng turns up.

Fu Heng: I heard people's arguing a mile away. You all misunderstood. Xiu Ying helped my sister a while ago. I wanted to thank her properly so I asked her to come to the station...What, is that against the rules?
