You kneeled under the sun for a whole day. Shu Xian tries to beg the Noble Consort for forgiveness, but she gets punished too and is forced to copy sutras. It's the Queen who ended up helping you. The night is freezing. You lie in bed but can't fall asleep despite being exhausted.
Shi Lian: [Walks in angrily] You were right Miss! I asked a eunuch at the imperial physician to check the basket. Someone put a gel over the basket. It's hard for people to detect, but not for dogs. It's a smell they absolutely love!
You smash your fist against the bed in fury.
Xiu Ying: (The enemy used the Noble Consort's temper against me. Most importantly though, how did they know I'm afraid of dogs?)
As you still ponder, Shu Xian walks in with two eunuchs holding the Stewardess in captivity. All of them look very angry.
Shu Xian: I heard Shi Lian talking about the basket being tinkered, so I had people investigate. It was this servant!
The Stewardess is shamed by such treatment, so she tries to fight.
Stewardess: The Attendant sure us getting cocky these days. I've never been treated such a way in my decades of service!
Shu Xian: [Angry] We should help each other as we all are a part of the palace, but you keep attacking others!
The Stewardess stays quiet, but still looks discontent.
Xiu Ying: Miss, may I give the Stewardess her punishment?
The Stewardess didn't expect you want to punish her. She begins yelling.
Stewardess: You want to punish me? Who do you think you are? What gives you the power?
Shu Xian: I don't want to look a this dirty servant any more. I'll leave it to you!
Shu Xian give the Stewardess a disgusted look and leaves.
Stewardess: [Struggling] Xiu Ying! I've been here for decades. I dare you to lay a finger on me!
The Stewardess thinks you won't have the guts to punish her. You would still respect her too, if it weren't for her constantly stepping out of line. You decide to first interrogate her.
Xiu Ying: Just one question. Who asked you to do it?
Stewardess: You dare to interrogate me? What the hell are you? You weren't even born when I started serving in the palace!
Xiu Ying: I wanted to have a good chat with you, but I guess you won't comply.
The Stewardess looks away in disdain.
Xiu Ying: I guess we'll have to do this the hard way then.
Stewardess: What, are you really going to do it? You know I'll report everything to the Queen!
You sneer at her with a calm expression.
Xiu Ying: Oh, please do get her!
The calmer you are, the more scared the Stewardess gets.
Xiu Ying: Did you forget about last time? The Queen would just detest you even more. Let's see if you'll be as cocky after she comes over!
Stewardess: [Panics] I just out some stuff in your basket. How's that supposed to be a set up?
You walk up to her and slap her hard, and grab her collar.
Xiu Ying: Good, you admit it. I'll bring you to the Noble Consort to confess!
Stewardess: [Struggles] Like you will! Don't you dare! I'm already one foot in the grave. Why would you treat me so horribly!
Xiu Ying: [Sternly] Why didn't you feel that way when you did all the bad things to me?
You threw away your life as a rich young woman to enter the palace because you want to become cold and aloof. Nobody will hurt you, or anyone around you. You will not go easy on those who have vile thoughts!
