Jade had everything. The money, the job, the smarts, the looks. Except the perfect guy.
Valentine's Day was around the corner, and unless you are in a relationship, you can't really go out. It makes you seem like you can't get a guy, and Jade knew that. Worse, Jade's parents were going on vacation from where they lived in London to visit Jade in New York on the most loved-up day of the year.
Her parents expected her to have a boyfriend. At 25, they believed that her career as a top defense lawyer had to come second to her search for love. Otherwise, she might start buying her cats that would turn out to be her only companions. Not a good situation.
Then, Jade heard about the website boyfriendforhire.com. It was for all the single ladies who needed boyfriends quickly. Jade quickly bought her boyfriend for Valentine's Day and started teaching him how to act around her parents.
But as these things go, Adam, Jade's 'boyfriend', and Jade realized that pretending to be a couple really pushes someone to become one. And they realized this on the most romantic day of the year.
