iii. Bites✴️
Maddie Anderson has a secret.
She has an eating disorder.
And a lot of other medical issues. But that's a separate issue.
She isn't the head cheerleader at her school, she isn't the queen bee.
She's really a nobody. So therefore, (in everyone else's mind), she shouldn't even have a disorder.
Except that no one knows until Maddie tells one person. Who ends up dating Maddie.
But he doesn't believe that Maddie is actually sick with a disease.
And when Maddie is finally sent to the hospital, can he finally believe her?

I think this is probably partially based on the Red Band Society (which is a great show, by the way) and Leo and Emma's relationship, but I think it still applies. If you have a mental disorder or an eating disorder or an anxiety disorder, or the like, most people don't think that it's a real medical problem. And every one of them are. So it is important to know that every medical issue had severe consequences, especially when it is invisible and no one believes in it.
Thanks!
