Liam Winters had always known what he wanted to do with his life-defend the country as a member of the U.S. Special Forces. But as soon as his older brother, Jackson, is killed, that all changes.
Even more than wanting to join the armed forces like the rest of the men in his family, Liam wanted to have a family. After coming home from war, he wanted to have a home, a wife, and kids to return to. And after Jackson is killed, Liam sees firsthand how a death in a war zone wrecks a new family like Jackson's.
Liam didn't care about being killed himself-his main concern was his future family. Liam never wanted to hurt his current family who were still reeling from Jackson's death, but once he starts to reevaluate his dreams, he receives pressure.
Is following your family's dream and making them happy worth the risk and pain? That's what Liam had to find out on his own.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I just didn't find the right plot. I think that this could be very, very good. But if you do decide to take it, please either be familiar with the armed forces OR DO LOTS OF RESEARCH. That's the only way that you'll be able to write this well (at least I think).
This is partially based on American Sniper (the movie) which I haven't seen, but I've heard about. Please do it and the people who have lost loved ones in war justice.
And on a much lighter note, I HAVE 225 READS ON THIS BOOK!!!!! Is this real life? I know that I have so many different parts, but I never thought that I would ever have this many reads. Thank you so much. It literally makes my entire week/year/life. I love you all for keeping updated with this and continuing to read it. Thank you so much❤️.
