vi. Simply Business❇️
Anna lives in the world of books. She works as an editor at a publishing company, and so her profession is reading. And pointing out mistakes. Everyday she reads love stories, romance books, novels about epic tales of hope and determination, but she hasn't ever experienced love, or anything close to it herself. She grew up as an orphan, living in a girl's orphanage in London. She never knew her real parents, and they gave her away. They certainly didn't love her. The most he had ever been viewed as was tolerable. Nothing was wrong with her, but she was just another thing to do, another duty, and so she was never loved, either by the other girls, the orphanage director, or the fictional boys she met in books. Because she had never gone to school with boys or gone out into the world where they were everywhere.
Until college and the beginning of her work as an editor.
*Okay, you can either make this a fan fiction or not. So I will write both versions below*
Fan Fiction Version: (I'm going to write it as a One Direction fanfiction plot, but you can insert any band/singer/famous person)
Anna had quickly risen to the top of her profession, and at 21 and still in school, she was contacted by One Direction management because they wanted the band to write another autobiography after the major success of the first one. Anna took the drafts, but she had always believed that one had to form a close bond with the authors to be a good editor.
So Anna was invited on the world tour.
In her first real experiences with the male species, she was the awkward, bumbling little girl surrounded in the tour bus, the concert venues, and the entire tour by grown, manly, experiences men.
Anna tried to keep it strictly professional. But how can you do that when you have to spend a year in close quarters with 5 hot megastars?

Teen fiction plot:
When Anna was contracted to edit a romance novel by a 22 year old, fresh out of college man who was terribly attractive, she couldn't say no. (Mostly because it was her job.) But this book was unlike all her other editing. It was steamy, it was controversial, and it didn't hold back. But Anna didn't know anything about romance, so she couldn't edit it.
But the author, a Jacob Levitz, found her undeniably attractive, and was dead set on her editing his work. So he offered to reach her.
And she agreed. As long as it was simply business.
But of course, like every romance story, it always turns out to be so much more.
And it was so much more to Jacob and Anna.
•••••••••••••
So, I've always wanted to write a fan fiction, but I always feel like I'll make the characters in such a way that it would offend the real celebrity if they ever read the story (which they probably would never do) but I still would feel bad. So I and up writing teen fictions.
So that is just background for this plot.
Thanks!
