Be my Valentine pt 3

Alex's P.O.V.

As soon as we got into the car, Jennifer was all over me.

"Ugh, I cannot wait to get to the hotel so we can have the best sex ever again." Jen said as she kissed my neck and was unbuckling my pant.

"Woah baby, hold on. I know you're horny but wait a minute. We have to stop by somewhere before we go to the hotel." I said as I put my hand over her hand to stop her.

"What do you mean?" Jen said as she pulled away slowly.

"You'll see..." I said and kissed her soft but deeply. She kissed back and rubbed my chest softly. We continued to kiss until we arrived at our destination, which was only 10 minutes away.

Once we arrived. Jennifer pulled away slowly and fixed her lipgloss. I fixed my pants and buckled my belt again.

The driver opened the door and I got out first then held my hand out for Jen. She put her lip gloss away and took my hand. She got out and looked around.

"We're at the beach..? Why did we stop here..?" She asked and was a bit confused.

I did not know what to say without giving away the real reason why we are here so I made up an excuse.

"I wanted to stop by here so that we can go on a walk along the beach and cool down a bit... We ate a lot of food you know... and I think it would be good to cool down a bit before we go back and do our thing... You know.." I said, hoping she'd believe me.

"I mean that makes sense." Jennifer said and smiled.

"Yeah.." I said and smiled as I helped her take off her heels and held her heels for her as we wade our way onto the sand and started to walk along the beach.

I held her hand and she held mine.

"I wonder what the kids are doing right now." Jen said and smiled as she looked over at the waves crashing then forming waves again.

"Probably having fun and watching movies." I said and smiled.

"Yeah, I think so. The kids loveee to have movie nights. that their most favorite thing to do." She said as we walked.

"Babe, did you ever think you would be a mother and come this far in life?" I asked because I was nervous and didn't know what else to say.

"Um.. Well to be honest, yes and no. Career-wise, I just winged it and just wanted to try and make my dreams come true. And if I didn't make it, I still wanted to be a mother and have kids. I knew that having kids was a goal of mine and when both of those things happened... It changed my outlook on life.. For the better. It made me see the world differently. It made me more aware of things." Jen said and smiled as she looked up at me.

"I can tell. You just are such an amazing mother. I remember the first time I met your kids and I sat back and watched you.. you know, be a mom, and do your thing with them.. It was just so effortless. The way how you show love and give love. You always had that in you... You love hard and you show your kids what real love is like.. And I love that about you." I said softly as we stopped walking. She was smiling at me the whole time.

"You're so sweet papi.." Jen said and smiled. I smiled as well, then I set her heels down beside us and cupped her face softly. I leaned down and kissed her soft and deep. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around me.

I slowly pulled away from the kiss but kept her close to me. "You mean so much to me Jennifer Lynn. You make me so happy and you accept me for who I am. I know we have been through a lot together but you never left... You gave me another chance and I will forever be grateful for that.. I want to continue to have a love like this but I cannot do it without you by my side. So will you be my partner in crime for the rest of my life?" I said as I got on my knee and held out a ring.
