Unexplainable part 2

Jennifer's P.O.V.

Once Leah and I arrived at the airport, we got our things and boarded onto my private jet. We got in and I looked at her nervously and tried not to cry. We got everything settled and we got into our seats. Leah sat beside me and comforted me as she held me close. We then took off and headed to Florida...

"I just hate that I had to leave like this... I miss the kids and I miss Alex so much..." I said as I started to cry.

"I know baby... I know you do... Believe me, I miss Ang and Sof so much already... But listen, I am here to support you and to let you know that we will get past this... We will be okay... I promise.." Leah said as she wiped my tears and kissed my cheek softly. I nodded and rested my head on her shoulder as I continued to cry.

After 2 hours of crying, I ended up falling asleep. Leah looked at her phone and sighed. "1 more hour..." Leah said and took a nap with me.

Once we arrived, we woke up and got our luggage, and walked to the car that was waiting for us. The driver put our luggage in the trunk for us and we got in the backseat. The driver then took us to our hotel.

I looked down at my phone and got a text from max... We texted for a bit.

I sighed softly and set my phone down. Leah held my hand and I rested my head on her shoulder again.

45 minutes later...

Once we arrived at our hotel, we got our luggage taken to our room as we checked in. We got our key and went to the elevator. I had my sunglasses on and so did Leah.

"I don't think I have felt this emotionally unstable..." I said softly to Leah as we entered the elevator.

"I know.. It's overwhelming and heartbreaking to be away for so long.. We are going to be okay... I promise.." Leah said reassuringly and rubbed my back. I nodded and sighed. "You're right.. I gotta stay strong for the kids... They are waiting for me.." I said softly. "That's the spirit." Leah said and smiled softly at me. I smiled back softly.

We got to the top floor and walked to our room. When we walked in, it looked like a giant apartment. "Holy shit.," Leah said softly as she looked around. "This is bigger than most suites I stay at," I said and looked around. "You hungry?" I said as I grabbed the menu and looked at the meals. "Starving," Leah said as she walked over to me and looked at the menu with me. We called room service and ordered food to our room.

We went to our room and laid in bed together as we waited for our food.

"Tomorrow is the big day and I am nervous but ready to get things over with..." I said and sighed.

"Everything will go as planned.. hopefully. But you should be fine..." Leah said.

"What if it doesn't...? What if I die...?" I said as I looked at Leah.

"Then I will marry Alex and be your kids' stepmom and take care of them for the rest of their lives, and carry on your legacy," Leah said.

"Lee. I'm being serious." I said.

"I know, I know... But it's just been nerve-wracking so I tried to light up the mood... anyways... Um... I would just keep your kids and raise them as my own..." Leah said.

"I don't want to die..." I said as I began to tear up.

"Baby, you won't... You hired the best people... Just relax.. you are in good hands. We did an extensive amount of research... You will be okay." Leah said reassuringly.
