Alex's P.O.V.

"Alex.. I'm pregnant..." Jennifer said softly as she looked at me with her beautiful brown glowing eyes.

"Jennifer... why didn't you tell me this sooner?" I said and looked at her worried.

"I was just too scared to tell you... and after I told..." She said and stopped for a brief second then continued to speak. "after telling Jack.... he kind of bailed out on me and he said some hurtful stuff and took off..."

"Jennifer... is it mine...?" I said to her and looked down at her.

"I don't know... honestly... I was wondering if you could come with me to my doctor...?" Jennifer asked me politely and said in a soft tone. She seemed nervous and scared. I looked at her and smiled softly.

"Yes yes of course. Let me get my wallet and keys. And some shoes on of course." I said to her and I went to get my stuff.

"Okay.." Jen said as she waited and leaned against the door frame.

"Okay, also I need to come clean.... Cynthia and I never did anything to be honest... I did see you earlier when I bumped into you but I was scared to talk to you.. well not scared, just nervous as hell... So I called her over and had her act like we did something.. because I thought you would be engaged to Jack by now... and also... to be quite honest... I've been alone for a while..." I said softly and sighed as I told the only girl I love, the truth.

"Papi... oh... You're clever but you're not that clever. You really got me there to be honest. But I never was really with jack. We ignored each other. We'd go out for coffee every Friday morning and that was it." Jennifer said and brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear as she looked up at me innocently. I knew she was telling the truth but I just felt awful for ignoring her for so long.

I stopped listening after Jen mentioned that she wasn't really with Jack. Instead I got caught up looking at her facial features and being distracted by her cuteness and her beautiful lips. I missed her so much that after she stopped talking, I didn't even bother to respond to what she had just said, instead I pulled her to me and held her close to me because I knew that we both needed a hug from each other. Jen began to tear up and she hugged me back. She rested her head against my chest and cuddled into me.

"I stopped listening after you mentioned the fact that you didn't see Jack as much... I got distracted by your beautiful face... I just miss you so much Jennifer... I miss my little cute baby girl... and I miss your back rubs after my workouts and I miss your laugh... I miss everything... I know I was being an ass... but I'm sorry... We should've talked things out earlier... Tashi and Ella have been asking for you 24/7... they miss their step mommy." I said to her and sighed in relief.

"Really...? Well... I missed all three of you. Emme and Max missed you guys as well... Max missed you most... and I know you two have such a strong bond.. he missed playing video games with you and doing techy stuff with you... Emme missed her sisters from another mister." Jen said and let out a small giggle. She wiped her tears but more tears kept coming out.

"Baby no... don't cry..." I said and wiped her tears as I placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"You out of all people know that I get emotional over anything... and I can't help it... it's the baby.." Jen said and tried to distract me from her letting her true emotions out.

"Sure it is..." I said as I chuckled softly and kept her close to me. I softly cupped her face and looked into her eyes. "Listen baby, I want to make you some lunch before we go to the doctors and I also want to apologize for everything and I want to make it up to you." I said softly before planting a soft kiss on her sweet beautiful lips. Jen gave me a soft kiss back and smiled soft and nodded.

I took her into our apartment and I made her some of her favorite food, Pollo Guisado. Jen went into our room and changed into one of my Arod Corp tshirts and it fit her like a dress. She came out and sat on the stools and watched me gather the ingredients and start to cook.

Jennifer has always loved to watch me cook. She loves it when a man knows how to cook and dance. Which are the two qualities I have that she loves about me.

45 minutes later...

I finished cooking and served Jen, then served myself after. We sat together and ate together. I missed spending time with her and just being around her...

After we ate, Jen put her hair up in a bun then we left to the doctors office. The whole car ride was silent and she was looking down at her lap.

"Babe be honest... are you nervous..?" I said softly.

"No..." Jen said nervously and tried to hide her nervousness.

"Are you sure..?" I said softly and questioned her again.

"I'm just..." Jen said softly before tearing up again. She then continued I speak after tears streamed down her face. "I'm sorry for being a mess but I just worry... what if the baby isn't yours..? Then what....? I sound like a complete slut saying that.... but are you going to hate me and leave me again..?" She said with a teary voice and began to cry.

"Baby no, don't say that about yourself... I still love you no matter what... If the baby is not mine, then I will raise it like it is mine.. all I care about is you and the baby being healthy. And if it's mine then it's completely fine. Baby I'm not leaving your side again... that was a mistake..." I said as I held Jennifer's hand. She held my hand back and was clearly nervous because her hand was a bit shaky.

She looked up at me and smiled lightly.

"Princess.. just relax okay...?" I said to her and quickly kissed her head softly then focused on the road again.

Shortly after, we arrived at the office and I parked the car. We got out and walked inside holding hands tightly.
