Jennifer's P.O.V.
I got nervous as I stared at my body in the mirror, looking at my hourglass curves in the new Valentino dress I received that was custom made for me.

I called Leah on facetime and showed her my outfit.
"HOLY SH!T JENNIFER! You look amazing baby!! Just wow!" Leah said excitedly.
"Aww thank you, babe. I am so nervous... I just feel something that I never felt with A-A-" I tried to finish my words but stuttered and realized that his name was a trigger word for me. I gulped softly and was frozen.
"Fck him. Fck him, don't think about it. The feeling you're feeling is definitely something special baby. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to go out. YOU deserve to be HAPPY." Leah said and I nodded.
"You are right... Thank you, Lee... you are such an amazing friend and I definitely needed to hear that because I keep thinking about what a- he would say or just certain things that he use to do when he use to live here..." I said and sighed softly.
"Baby, that is just all in your head... relax... take it easy, think about the kids... be happy so that you can glow and so that the kids can relax knowing you are happy. " Leah said.
I nodded softly.
"What time is your date?" Leah asked.
"Well, Jack said he'd pick me up at 7:30. " I said and blushed softly.
"Ooohhh okay! text me when your date is done! have fun baby, say hi to the kids for me okay?" Leah said.
"Of course I will. Okay, I will text you after." I said excitedly and giggled.
We both hung up and I put some perfume on and some strappy black heels and walked downstairs.
As soon as I walked downstairs, the kids were all in the living room watching the Lorax movie. The doorbell rang and I quickly went and unlocked the door.
Jack was standing there with 3 bouquets of red roses and gifts for the boys. I gasped softly. "Awwhh! Hello, jack." I giggled and hugged him.
He hugged back and smiled. "Hi beautiful, you look amazing." Jack said then slowly pulled away and took a step back to look at my outfit. "God damn.. You look amazing." Jack said as I giggled and did a single spin.
I led him inside where the kids were at. "Cocos. Jack is here. Jack this is Max, Emme, and Natasha. And these two little nuggets are Ivan and Elias." I said and smiled.
"Hello, it is very nice to meet you guys. I have heard many wonderful things about you three. Is there an Ella?" Jack smiled and said.
"She's with my dad." Natasha said and nodded softly.
"Ahh, I see. Well, this is for you Emme, and this is for you Natasha." Jack said and handed them both a bouquet of roses. Jack then handed Max his favorite candy as well as a new game for his Nintendo switch. He then gave Ivan and Elias each a building block set. Ivan and Elias cooed and crawled to the building blocks and tried to open the bags. I reached down and opened them for them and they instantly started to play with them.
"Aww snap! This is so cool! Thank you!!" Max said and dabbed then hugged him. Jack chuckled and hugged back. "No problem bud." He said.
"Thank you so much for the roses. We both looovveee roses! Just like our mom." Natasha and Emme both said and smiled.
"Oh, no problem." Jack said and smiled warmly.
"Go ahead and sit down baby." I said and looked at Jack. He nodded and sat down on the other couch. "Excuse me, while I go put the roses in some water." I said and smiled and took the three bouquets of roses and went to go put them in vases.
Jack and the kids instantly started talking and got to know each other, but Max and Jack connected more because they started to talk about Super Mario and all the characters. They discussed which characters were their favorites while Max showed Jack his new Mario game on his switch. The kids and Jack all took turns playing the switch together.
I walked back into the living room once I finished and saw them all bonding as I stopped and stood by the doorway.
"They look like they are having so much fun... especially Max... Max hasn't bonded with any male figure like this except for his father Marc... And the girls seem like they like having Jack around already... It makes me so happy to see them happy." I thought to myself as I watched them.
"Hey, Jen..?" Jack said while playing the game.
"Yes?" I said and smiled at him.
"Do you think we can skip the restaurant and just spend time with the kids?" Jack asked and looked over at me.
"Oh... my god... I am going to marry this man...." I thought to myself as I was surprised by Jack's question.
"Yeah, that sounds like a better idea." I said and smiled then went to go sit down between Max and Tashi.
We were playing the switch for about an hour and I took off my heels and set them beside the couch then went to go make some dinner. I made sweet potato gnocchi with broccoli. After an hour, dinner was ready and I served the kids and Jack first then served myself last.
"Cocos! Jack! Dinner is ready!" I called them over from the dining room and had served the drinks as well. The kids walked into the dining room and Jack walked in holding Ivan and Elias. I smiled and watched him as he put the boys into their high chairs. The boys started to eat and made a mess while eating. Jack chuckled and kissed their heads softly and ruffled their hair. He went to go sit down and join us.
"Woah, dinner looks and smells great." Jack said to me and smiled.
"Wait until you try it. Mom's cooking is better than any restaurant." Natasha said and smiled.
"Awwwhh Thanks guys, y'all are too sweet. " I said and giggled softly.
We began to eat and enjoy our food as dinner was filled with laughter and fun conversations as Jack got to know my cute and perfect little family.
