Activities
As an artist, you're supposed to do activities. Talk shows, variety shows, radio interviews, interviews, and fan services. Was that the most ideal thing for Jennie to do? Nope. She really just wanted to go sleep the whole day and do nothing but eat and get fat. All the schedules they had really stressed her out and just wore her out in general. But she's trying her best to keep a smile and move on.
This morning they were at a radio interview. Did some fun stuff like whose most likely questions, would you rathers and got to share some stories. It was pretty fun but with all the interactions Jennie has had with people, it definitely took a chunk out of her energy.
"So what are your goals as BLACKPINK, Jennie?" The host asks.
"Well a goal I would have is to let our music be able to impact people's lives in a good way. Whether you're having a bad day or you're not in a good mood I want our music to be able to lift your spirits and make you smile." Jennie responded wholeheartedly. It was true. Seeing smiles on people's faces when their music would go on is like a fever dream. It's something that made her feel happy.
"That's very nice, we need more people like that in this world. Oh, and I also heard about your story. Do you mind if we can tell us why it happened or what really went on?" The host asked. That was something Jennie didn't like and it definitely made her uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry but that something that's not very easy to say or share. I hope that everyone can respect that." Jennie said as she tried to stand up for herself for once.
"She's a slut!" "Please like it's something that serious!" "Are you joking right now? We all know you're a whore!" Jennie heard from outside. Some people watched and listen to the interview.
The members heard all of it. They looked at Jennie, she looks so unfazed until they see her eyes glisten in the light. Jennie puffed up her cheeks to prevent any of the tears to come out. She stayed strong. She couldn't cry in a situation like this. Not in front of everyone.
For the rest of the interview, there was uneasiness in the room. Jennie never spoke again and the host never asked her another question. All of the members felt the uneasiness but kept everything professional to prevent any scandals. In Jennie's mind, those monsters in her head were back. Her anxiety rose and her heart beating rapidly.
Once the interview ended the host had apologized for his actions and for asking such an absurd question like that. It didn't help much since most of the people's words had already got into her head but Jennie accepted the apology. The managers were aware of the situation and had contacted the company to handle what had just gone on.
All Jennie could do was just stay quiet and keep everything to herself to prevent any more harm to their reputation and the girls. She knew that it would only get worse in their career and it would only get more toxic as it goes. But she wasn't used to other people who don't even know her telling her things that she clearly wasn't.
They rode home all silent. No one dared to say a word to anyone just scared to hurt someone's feelings or start up something that would hurt someone. It was visibly seen that Jennie was just plain hurt. Not even the younger members who were always filled with laughter talked. Once they arrived home Jennie dragged herself to her room and just sat there.
She was just too tired with it all. Too much when she only debuted a month ago. Was this how things are supposed to go? Was all this hate going to be worth it in the end? Would the people end me before nature does? All those questions swirled in her head and she couldn't stop it.
No one bothered her that night. They only got more worrisome when Jennie didn't come out to eat. Jisoo had made her favorite ramen but still didn't want to come out of the room. She was stressing, she couldn't trust Jennie in a room by herself when she's like that.
