She felt giddy the moment she received the text. She couldn't stop giggling which caught the Bullies' attention.

"Anyare, Daks?" tanong sa kanya ni Ara.

She acted like nothing happened. "Wala."

"Sus, wala daw oh!" sabi naman ni Kim.

"Wala nga."

Ara tsk-ed. "Dahil ba sa lalaki 'yan, Mika?" she asked with a smirk.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes. "How do you know?" and now, it was her turn to smirk. "Based on experience ba?" All of a sudden, Ara started blushing.

"Yun oh! Hashtag SpeechlessAngLolaNiyo." pang-aasar ni Kim.

"The tables have turned!" dagdag pa ni Cienne.

Ara gave them a glare. "Whatever."

She still doesn't get why she's friends with them despite their differences and disparities. "Gawd, Ewan ko sa inyo. Tara na nga sa baba at kumain." she invited.

But she was thankful for it, anyways. I think that no matter how different they may be to each other, they still have a lot in common.

Friendship. Bonds. Connections. It brings color to life, comfort in times of trouble, warmth in times of coldness. And most of all, company when everything in the world seems to be against you.

That's what friends are for.

They were all wearing green shirts for some reason. It piqued her interest, her curiosity.

"What are they up to this time?" tanong niya kay Ara.

Ara just shrugged. "Ewan ko. Baka naman yan lang kasi ang t-shirt nila kasi La Salle, di ba?"

She made faces. "Wow. What a brilliant deduction, Ara." she said, sarcastically.

"Ay, di na pwede mag-suggest? Nakakahiya naman sa nagbabasa ng utak." Ara said.

She frowned. She still doesn't get why people have this notion of thinking that she can read minds just because she's taking up Psychology.

What's up with that?

"Can you please stop with that stupid idea? Seriously, it's annoying." masungit na sabi niya.

Nagulat ang mga ito sa sinabi niya. Nagulat din siya sa sinabi niya. They didn't expect her to say that. And she didn't, as well. They knew that despite her being grumpy in nature, they can still whether differentiate when she's grumpy or angry.

And this time, she was definitely angry.

"S-sorry, Daks." Ara stuttered.

Only then did she realized that she was hurting her friends. She was starting to be unreasonable again.

"Ah... hindi. Ako dapat ang mag-sorry. Sorry, Thomsy." sabi niya at saka umalis.

She was contemplating on why she was acting that way earlier. Maybe she got tired of people calling her that. People telling her and reminding her.

They were happy or she was, at least. She was glad being with him and being with him meant everything for her.

She shouldn't have wrapped her life around him like that.

Given the fact that at the same day and time that they broke up e natalo pa sila and she got a failing grade in one of her subjects.

If he could've waited until she was feeling good, it would've been easier for her to accept their break-up. She was feeling bad that day! She needed comfort. She needed someone to share her sentiments with and she expected him to be that someone. But all he did was add up to his misery.

Isang bagsakan.

She could still remember how shocked she was. It was in front of many people. It was in a restaurant, for Pete's sake!

But it end up the other way around.

They were like in a movie. She was the damsel in distress and he was his partner who was about to leave her and the people around them were the audiences.

Hindi niya makalimutan kung paano siya tinignan ng mga tao noong mga panahong iyon. A lot of them sympathized with her. Naawa sila sa kanya. Although, there were few who called her a flirt, it didn't matter for her. But what caught her ears was someone who said;

Isn't her course Psychology? If she could've read his mind then she wouldn't be as miserable as she is now.

She wanted to answer them and tell them that if only she could, then she would.

She can't help but roll her eyes.

Alexandria never liked girls like Mika. But this time she had to make an exception.

Lumapit siya dito. "Hi." she greeted boredly.

It took Mika time to recover. "Sorry. Nagulat lang. You're A-alex, right? So sorry I haven't introduce myself yet."

Alex couldn't help but give her another eye roll. "Yes, I am. Tsaka sino bang nang-imbita sa'yo dito? I never gave you any invitations. Duh..."

Yumuko si Mika sa sobrang hiya. "S-sorry. S-si A-ara k-kasi..."

"Shh! Manahimik ka na lang. I'll make an exception this time kahit na ayoko sa'yo!" masungit na sabi niya. She was on the verge of crying but she didn't care.

It was her party. She takes control on everything. She was royalty here. She has power. But not one thing.... Jeron's heart.
