Chapter 18 he's still into me

After naming mag-usap ni daddy sa phone bumalik na ako sa loob para magligpit ng mga gamit ng bigla silang sumigaw lahat ng..

"Congratiolations Engineer Del Fiego" Naguguluhan ko silang tinignan bago magsalita.

"What?! But y'all said I didn't pass?" I look at them with a strange look on my face.

"At bakit ka naman hindi makakapasa? Look at you, you're smart enough to pass the exam and i just can't find any reason for you to fail, But what amazed me the most is yung sinabi mong maghihintay ka nalang para sa next board exam like you're really willing to pursue your dream no matter what" Mom said.

"Oh My God! Really?" I looked at the lap top and then hug everyone in the house one by one. I just can't believe that I'm an official engineer now.

"I'm an Engineer!" I shouted with so much excitement.

"Yes anak you're an engineer" Pag uulit ni mommy.

"Congratulations Engineer Del Fiego" I looked at the front door when i heard dad's voice. He was holding a cake to his right hand.

We happily celebrated my accomplish that night.

After that night I became busy kase may napasukan na agad akong company by the help of my mom, she surely has so many connections even in politics and industry. The company provided my own office and some employees are recommending me to hire a secretary to manage my schedules since mas magiging busy daw ako kesa sa kanila kase nga daw i have potential.

I was on my office planning some thing when someone knocked at the door. "Come in" I said, while my sight is still on my lap top. I heard the door opened and my secretary came in.

"Ma'am you have another project with your team and the location is on Laguna under the company of Alonzo Food Corporation. You also have a meeting later on 3:15 pm and for tomorrow's meeting, you will meet tge head of Alonzo Food Corporation to discuss their plans." She announced. The reason why i hired her to be my secretary is dahil complete information siya kung mag update sakin at sa mga hindi na masyadong important na work ay siya na ang gumagawa para sakin.

"Naka sulat na sa mga documents ang presentation ng team and they just need your approval." She handed me the documents that i need to sign. I signed it directly because I'm still busy working on something and my team is independent enough to make such a decision. By the way, did i just heard "Alonzo" Food Corporation?

"Alex do you have the names of the employees from Alonzo Corporation?" She nodded. "Can I have it?" And then she handed me another document.

"Oh and also, can you get me some coffee?"

"Right away ma'am" Right after she walked out my office, I immediately read the document.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko out of shock nang mabasa ko ang pangalan ng Chairman. Dude WTH bakit ba lagi nalang tayong pinagtatagpo. Ano yun pinagtagpo pero di tinadhana? Eww so jeje.

"Ma'am here's your coffee" Nagulat ako dahil pumasok si Alex at Nagulat naman siya sa iniasta ko. She just ignored what she saw and just gave me the coffee then left. If only binasa ko muna yung presentation bago ko pinirmahan edi sana hindi na kami magkikita bukas Hyst so stupid Danna.

Nag set ako ng alarm for the meeting later because I'm still sleepy so i take a nap. 1 minute nalang bago mag start ang meeting and whe're still waiting sa mga taga Alonzo Food Corporation.
Nang dumating na sila, ang lahat na nasa loob ng meeting room ay nagsitayuan para bumati.

Naging smooth ang takbo ng meeting namin lahat ng napagplanuhan ay settled na. After the meeting with them gumawa lang ako ng short discussion with my team para maging stable na ang lahat. We just  want everybody's preparation and cooperation for tomorrow. Bukas pupuntahan na namin ang lugar para masukatan na.

When I arrived at the place nagtingin-tingin muna ako sa paligid para makita kung gaano ka lawak ang lugar.

"Making Your plans already?" Someone asked me from the back.

"Uh no, I'm just searching around while I'm still waiting for my team." I answered.

"Uhm by the way ang bagong building ba nato na ipapatayo niyo ay magiging new building for the employees or para lang mas makilala pa ang company niyo? I mean you still have your old company and as i can see ok pa naman yun so bakit kayo magpapatayo ng bago?" I asked him

"Actually that old building will still be useful. We will make it as an evacuation center. Remember when the Mt. Mayon erupted? There were no shelter for them to stay so in case na maulit yung situation na yun in the future, Our old building will be open for them to stay." He explained. Actually that make sense.

I also had that thought at the past but i don't had a place na pwedeng gawing evacuation center di kagaya ng mga Alonzo. Wait.... Sarili niya ba talagang idea yun?

"Mind if ask kung sayo galing yang idea na yan?"

"No it's not my idea. That's my girlfriend's idea actually" Oh so nagtagal pala sila ni Mara. "I don't know what to call her because I'm not sure if she's still into me." He awkwardly said.

"You broke up with her? Alam nakakalito ka. Sabi mo girlfriend mo pero parang hindi, ano ba talaga?" Nalilito kung pagkasabi

"We never broke up. It's just that I don't know what to call her kase baka may bago na siya." He sadly said.

"Hindi niya naman siguro magagawa Yan. Maybe she's still into you, you can't just see it. Are you still into her?" Ang pakealamera ko no? Hayaan niyo na. Aminin niyo ganyan din kayu.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"No I'm not." I playfully answered which made him look like he lost his hope LOL.

"Engineer we can start measuring na!" One of my teammates shouted. Wow i got distracted by this guy that i didn't even notice my teammates already arrived. I was about to turn back when he talk again.

"Aren't you going to ask who is she?" Wow ha, Di pa ba obvious na siya parin?.

"Mara?" I tried guessing.

"No." He seriously answered.

What?! "Then who?"

"What's your name again?" He asked me aside of answering me.

"It's no time to joke around" I used my annoyed look.

"Then you will not know who it is." God damn he's still serious at this point even though I'm getting pissed off.

"Fine! It's Danna" I tried to calm myself.

"It's Danna" He repeated.

"Yeah I'm Dann-" I got cut off when i realized he's not repeating me but answering the question.

He automatically understand my expression that i already got his point so he looked away.
