11 - Secrets Untold I

Esther turned in bed.

She tried to stretch her legs, hitting a body in the process.

Opening her eyes, she let out a small yawn as her eyes made contact with Elias' back.

He was bare, the blankets barely covering his fine ass.

His face was turned away from her giving her the back view of his locks. His hands were also placed on the pillow.

Elias was a large man. Although he wasn't snoring, he was breathing heavily.

Esther moved close to him and began to trace lines across his sculpted back.

A line ran from the back of his neck down to his spinal cord, stopping at his lower back.

It looked like an injury line that was stitched.

Esther began to trace it lightly.

Elias didn't even stir.

She finally decided to let him be. She stood up from bed and a sharp pain shot across her lower region.

She winced and cursed before slowly making her way into the bathroom. She did her business then went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat.

Esther was busy singing to herself in the kitchen when a servant suddenly came up to her.

She looked up at the young man.

"Is something wrong?", she asked.

"There's someone here to see boss man", he said.

"Then let the person in".

"We can't. Someone needs to override the system before she can come in. Only you or boss man can do that".

"Fine, I'll t-. Wait, did you say she?".

"Yes Empress".

Empress?, is that what they call me?, Esther thought to herself.

"Is the she in question old or young?".
"Young".

"Relationship with Elias?".

"I don't know Empress, I've never seen her before".

"How long have you been working here?", she asked again.

"Four years".

Esther felt like her questions were becoming too much so she just nodded her head and made her way to the door, the servant following her.

When she opened the door, she saw a young and beautiful woman few metres away from them.

The woman was standing by the trimmed edges.

Esther walked towards her with a smile.

"Good morning", she said.

"So you are the one".

"Sorry, who are you again?", Esther asked, a bit confused.

"I'm Elias' girlfriend".

Esther only nodded with a small smile then raised her hand up, showing the lady her ringed finger.

"I'm sorry he broke your heart but he's engaged now", she replied calmly.

The lady snorted.

"Look honey, i didn't come here to fight with you. Just tell him his children miss him and he should come see us. I called his number but he blacklisted me. Does he think he can leave me alone with two kids?. If Sanka knows what's good for him, he'd better come home".
