Esther shrinked back in fear.
She had been awake for about an hour, left alone in a room.
Esther's eyes were under the pillow trying to figure out who had taken her when someone unlocked the door and walked it.
"Will you people stop kidnapping me?", she sat up and looked at the guy smiling in front of her.
"I heard you lost your memory so you don't remember me".
"Who are you?".
"I'm your ex, Estella".
"My ex?", she was confused.
"Yeah. Your brother gave me a ride the other day and you two were arguing some guy who he, your brother was glad was gone. Something like that i think", Esther remembered what Genesis had said.
"My brother doesn't like you, does he?", she suddenly asked.
Gehazi laughed.
"No, he doesn't. Babe, why do you believe me?".
"Instincts", she shrugged.
"Yuh will never go back to him. Yuh belong to me", she shuddered at the thought of the memory.
"Why did you kidnap me?".
"You wasn't gonna come willingly and i missed you".
"What's your name?", she asked.
"Gehazi but you call me Haz".
"Haz. That sounds familiar. So what happened?, why did we break up?".
"Your brother's wife shot me".
"Onika?!", Esther yelled.
"Hmmmm", he nodded.
"Bu-but why?".
"I'm sure you know what your family does. That bitch betrayed me for your brother", he sat on the bed, facing her.
"Betrayed you?. I don't understand, you're only confusing me the more".
"She used to be my girlfriend then she fucked your brother".
"Is that why my brother hates you?".
Gehazi shook his head.
"He hates me cos I'm with you".
"Lemme guess. Rival families?", Esther rolled her eyes making Gehazi laugh.
"Babe, our families have been rivals for a very long time. Shit is complicated".
Esther sighed.
"And they've tried to separate us many times since childhood", he continued.
"But I'm engaged now", Esther looked at him with a pout.
Gehazi shrugged.
"You don't love him. With time, you'll remember everything".
"If Onika shot you, how are you still alive?".
"Bulletproof vest".
"I guess you want revenge", she said.
"Of course i do".
"So what's your plan?".
Gehazi sighed deeply and laid down, placing his head on Esther's thigh.
"I'm gonna kill Onika then disappear forever with you".
"I'm not leaving with you until your story checks out and that's when my memories come back".
