"Grow up Sanka, Calling her brother to take care of yuh shit. Yuh can't handle Kymon's daughter?. The fuck yuh doing with yuh life huh?".

Elias sighed as his father yelled at him on the phone.

"I know what I'm doing", he said calmly.

"Nah. Nah, yuh don't".

Elias closed his eyes in annoyance as his father continued to nag him.

Patience Sanka, he repeated to himself.

At the Bells Mansion, tension was high in the air.

"Where were you last night?".

"I was out with De-".

"Don't lie to me!".

Esther flinched.

"Do you know what you've done?, all because of you".

Esther looked at her brother.

"Why the fuck can't you stay put?, why are you making life complicated for everyone?".

"For once in your life, just do as you're told!", Christian yelled in frustration.

"What's your problem huh?, why can't you mind your business. Why are y-", Esther began, glaring at him.

"Oh you don't know?".

"Know what?".

"Because of you, Two was killed!".

Esther was shocked.

She staggered back in panic.

"What?", she whispered.

"They were following you. Where the fuck did you go last night, leaving the city!".

"You left the city in the middle of the night without protection!", Kymon yelled.

"And they were gunned down because of you!", Christian glared at her.

"Who are you frolicking with Esther?. Who were you with that took you out of town?!".

Her father and brother bombarded her with words and questions one after the other.

Tiesha who was behind them looked disappointed as Esther just stared.

Just then, Christian's phone rang.

"What?!", he snapped when he picked up the call.

His demeanor changed.

"What?", he asked calmly this time.

He staggered backwards as Tiesha rushed to him.

"Are you okay?, what's wrong?", she looked scared.

"Onika is dead".

"What?", Kymon and Tiesha said together.

"M-my kids. I gotta go".

Christian grabbed his keys and walked out immediately.

Kymon sighed as he sat down, Tiesha massaging his shoulders.

Esther just stood still as she still couldn't fathom the death of one of the trio.

"That girl's death is on you. If you hadn't gone out of the city in the middle of the night, they wouldn't have been targeted outside the city. Fuck, I should have known something was up".

"How can you blame me?. I didn't kn-", Esther finally found her voice.

"You didn't know what?. Ever since you had that fight with your fiance, you started being shady and look, someone's dead because of you. In fact, I think Onika's death is also your fault. Just do as you're told but no, you just have to be so fucking stubborn!", Kymon yelled in her face, standing up.
