"Gideon left everything. Except the photographs." Gideon leaving had taken it's toll on Spencer. He kept reading the letter over and over again.

'He always said those were like his family." Spencer said, sadly.

'What should we do with all of this?" I sighed. This was depressing.

"Oh yeah, I'm engaged. Just thought I'd throw that out there." I said, trying to change the subject. I knew they didn't know what to say to Spencer. To be honest neither did I. I thought if we could talk about something happy we wouldn't think about it.

"What?" Emily asked. "When did this happen?"

        "Last night."

        "Reid, My man!" Morgan said.

"Hey guys, I need to brief you." JJ said. We got up and headed in there.

"So you guys are getting married. Congratulations." I nodded. It didn't seem to be helping at all. So I did the only thing I could do. I held his hand. His eyes dropped down to the ring on my finger.

"Ok, we have four victims in Oregon. Two male, two female-"

        'I got this." Hotch said.

        'uh, sure."

"I know that we've all been wondering what this was all about. And uh, you know I've known Jason for many years, and I can tell you I have no idea. It doesn't even matter. What matters is we're here, and we're gonna continue. Portland field office uncovered a mass grave with three bodies killed six months ago. Nearby they found another body. Cause of death ranging from burned alive to asphyxiation. No sexual assault."

        "Well the torture's clearly sadistic."

"The lack of sexual preferences could make it difficult to tell if the unsub is male or female." Spencer added.

"Typically female serial killers stick to the same M.O. It looks like this guy is all over the place."

"Most recent victim is Jenny Wittman. Asphyxiation, discovered yesterday."

"How long was she missing?" I asked.

        "She was never reported missing."

        "What about the others?"

        'Only one." Hotch told me.

        'One of four?"

"Rick Holland was reported missing Nine months ago. but the search was called off."

'The family found his car at the train station but more importantly, they got emails from him saying that he needed time to figure things out."

        "And his family bought that?"

'Well I guess the Alternative was too hard to accept." I nodded. I could understand that.

"Reaching out...could be a sign of remorse."Spencer said.

"Psychopaths don't apologize for their behavior, this guy's covering is tracks."

        "Well, it's working."

"So, three victims he buried in one grave and then only Jenny Wittman in the other." Prentiss poitned out.

"You thinking it's a pattern?" Morgan asked.

"If there is, it's one down two to go."
