We ran and ran and ran. After a lot of running, I stopped to listen carefully. I heard Leorio's shouting. 'What happened now...' I turned around. Gon and Killua didn't notice. I ran to where I thought the voice was coming from. I stopped when I saw number 44, Hisoka, standing behind Leorio, ready to attack him. I was about to jump out to help him when I saw a familiar fishing rod flying out of nowhere.

"Gon..." I whispered to myself. 'So he heard it too.'

Surprisingly, Gon managed to land a hit on Hisoka.

"Gon?" Leorio asked.

"I made it in time." Gon said, relieved but tense and tired from running.

"Not bad, little boy." Hisoka told Gon. Gon tensed up. "Is that a fishing rod? What a fascinating weapon."

Hisoka walked towards Gon, demanding a closer look at his fishing rod. Leorio ran towards Hisoka, hoping to land a hit on him. Instead, Hisoka punched him hard enough to knock him out. Gon tried hitting Hisoka with his rod many times, but Hisoka kept disappearing and reappearing behind him. Just as Gon was about to attack Hisoka, Hisoka caught him by the neck. I tensed up as I watched this until I couldn't stand it anymore. I threw one of my knives at Hisoka, lightly scratching his cheek.

"Hmmm, really interesting." He said. I ran towards him with all my speed and I was about to attack him until he surprised me by grabbing my neck as well. Now, I was in the same position as Gon.

"A-Aiko!" He managed to say while trying to kick Hisoka. "Let her go!"

Hisoka said something about the looks on our faces, but I couldn't really understand anything. Soon everything was pitch black.

I woke up by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see a certain silver-haired boy looking down at me.

"K-Killua?" I asked.

"Finally, you woke up?" He asked. It was more like a statement, though. I sat up. My neck hurt a lot.

"What... Happened?" I managed to speak out. Then my memory returned to me. "W-Where's Gon?!"

"He's not here yet." He answered, sounding quite worried about him.

"How did I get here?" I asked him, hoping to get an answer.

"Hisoka brought you here, along with Leorio." He pointed at the tree beside us. "But you were knocked-out and, um, wings?" He was now pointing behind my back. I looked over my shoulder and watched my wings fold back and disappear.

"Yeah, they've always been like this. Whenever I'm in trouble or need them, they just come out." I explained. I looked over to see Leorio hasn't woken up. Just then, I heard Gon's voice. I looked around and saw Gon. I rushed over to him as fast as I could.

"Gon! You're okay!" I felt a little relieved. "I'm sorry, Gon. I couldn't help you and Leorio."

"It's alright Aiko! We're just happy you're okay. But, er, where is Leorio?" Gon asked me. I pointed towards the tree where Leorio was sleeping. We all walked to Leorio and Gon put Leorio's suitcase next to him.

"Man, that stings... Why am I all beat up? My memory is kinda hazy." Leorio asked.

"We probably shouldn't tell him what happened." Kurapika whispered to me and Gon. I nodded.

"Gon." Killua called.

"Killua!"

"I can't believe you actually got here... I thought you were done for."
