We were soon on the same ship, leaving for phase three.
"Allow me to introduce myself to the forty-three remaining applicants. I am Netero, Chairman of this year's hunter exam selection committee." The chairman introduced.
"I am his secretary, Beans." The same green creature that gave me my badge said.
"Originally, I'd planned to make my appearance during the exam's final phase, but as I'm already here..." Netero paused to look at all the applicants. I tensed up when he looked at me.
"I'm loving this tension in the air! So I think I'll stick around for the rest of the trip." He continued. He explained that we will be arriving at 8.00 AM tomorrow, and that we were free to do whatever we want until then.
"Gon! Aiko! Let's explore the airship!" Killua called us.
"Yeah!" Gon nodded.
"I think I'll get some rest first." I answered. They both looked disappointed but left anyways. Now I was with Kurapika and Leorio.
"How can they have so much energy?" Leorio wondered. We were heading to the room until a certain fat guy stopped us.
I shot him a death glare. "What do you want, Tonpa?"
"I-I... Nothing!" He said as he ran off. I shrugged then walked with Kurapika and Leorio. We got to the room and as soon as Leorio leaned on the wall, he fell asleep. 'You must be really sleepy...' I smiled.
"Well, I'll be sleeping. Wake me up if you need something." I told Kurapika. He smiled then nodded. I rested on his shoulder and almost immediately fell asleep.
I closed my eyes for a minute. When I opened them, there were bodies of somehow familiar people laying on top of a pool of blood. I opened my mouth but no words came out. I gasped for air at the horrifying scene.
"You did this." A familiar voice said.
"Onii-chan?!" I asked.
"You killed them all. Look at your hands." I did as Kai said. My hands were covered in blood, but it wasn't mine.
"N-No! I couldn't! I'd never!" I disagreed. Then someone caught my arms behind my back. It wasn't Kai; he was still in front of me. I felt my back being stabbed. I let out a loud scream. I thought I might bleed to death. Then, my wings spread and before I knew it, the man was laying on the floor, dead in a separate pool of deep red liquid. I shouted.
"I-I really did. I murdered them. All of them." I whispered as tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Aiko." Another voice said. 'Was that... Kurapika?'
"Aiko! Wake up." Leorio's voice shouted.
"It's just a bad dream, Aiko. You'll be fine." It was Kurapika's this time. I opened my eyes and sat up quickly. I gasped for air. I was terrified. I looked around to see the worried faces of my friends.
"W-What... Happened?" I managed to speak out.
"You were having a bad dream. You were shouting and you were having trouble breathing. We were really worried. I tried waking you up, but you didn't. Me and Leorio were trying to wake you up." Kurapika explained.
"You were... Worried?" I asked in disbelief. Kurapika nodded. I weakly smiled. I think I'll go wash my face. I stood up and walked to the closest bathroom I found. I washed my face and walked out. I heard Gon and Killua talking. I walked towrds them.
"Oh, hey Aiko! Did you get enough rest?" Gon asked.
"Not really. What ere you guys talking about?" I asked curiously.
